This I love . Ever time I listen to it I cry. My kids are all grown up. But I think of them when they were little spelling kool on the couch. Everything thing in this is the same. One thing our son asking what things were made of . He asked what paint was made . Their Dad didn't know what to say . He looks at . That one he said bed time . This song touches my heart ❤️ . I love it so much. I'm proud of my kids . Thank God for.all your songs they touch . Your heart 💜 .
I love hearing this, and brings back memories of their days of singing gospel music. Their turning point after the album "Street Gospel" was also a turning point for me with them. Also, hearing some of their "testimonies" reveals some of their motivations as well. It seems to me that it was a feeling resulting from the harmonies instead of a relationship with God, though...
Hello just wanted to say I use to live in Alexandria Indiana up the road from the Studio behind pizza king, I lived there maybe 8 to 10 years. Back in March 2003 my wife and I had a run-in with the Oakridge Boys. On our way back from Florida we had stayed overnight after getting into Indiana on 65. When leaving the next day to finish the trip home,we their buses they had 2 at the time. I told my wife to take some pictures so she got a Pic of yhe rear bus and as we was passing them, the bus in front almost ran us off the road, it was really bad snowy roads at that time, my wife also ot a picture of that happening. I don't think the driver of that bus had seen us passing it wasn't like we was speeding or anything like that because of the roads but just thought I would share this with you.
What is the song they did with Merle Haggard? I'd like to hear it. I love Merle. He had one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. I love this interview, as well. I've always loved the Oak Ridge Boys and their music.
Good question. I would think at least one year or more ago. Before Joe’s symptoms became unbearable. Joe looks sharp and composed here as does all of the other Oaks.
I have always loved you all from the beginning !!!!

"Sweet Jesus" is the song Merle wrote.
