I've known Joe Bonsell most of my life. First meeting the Oakridge Boy's since 1965 . Long before Joe was in the group . People , When Joe and Richard Sturban joined the group , They found what I call the magical mix . A perfectly hormanized sound . Joe was the best of men , What you say on the stage was how he was backstage and with his fans . I remeber my father booking the Oakridge Boy's on a Thanksgiving concert . We did not want them to miss some good eating so they came to my Aunt's home for the day . The Oak's even joined my family in the backyard playing football . All of them ! Joe lost his battle of LDS , Lou Garret's disease . This was to be the Oakridge Boy's last tour , The Final Tour as they called it . Sadly , Each member of the quartet lost vary close members of their family . But these men are still singing . Hurting , But faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ in all things . I love Joe Bonsell , He was such an ibtrical part of the quartet . What your hearing from this documentary is the true story of Joe and the Oak's .
This was trying a great interview with Joseph Bonsall he tells allthe stories with great interests and sings just as great!!Love hearing all about his life and family!!❤❤😊😊from AKRON, OHIO
I NEVER liked ANY of the British singers!! I think they ruined American music! I'm surprised to hear Koe Bonsall say he didn't like it either when he was young.
