I loved this storyline. Evil is Born: Cruella - she’s born that way, first kill was when she was a kid Evil is Made: Maleficent - Heartbroken by King Stefan and her child was taken from her by the Charmings. It made her evil! Evil is Nurtured: Ursula - Her father forced her to sink ships and when she disobeyed, her voice was taken away from her
i like how the chernabog gets up in a pose that basically says, 'look at me bitches, i'm fabulous. now i'm going to devouring you but first look at me, i'm fabulous.' lol
They all referred to it as his curse because he obtained it after however many years of it being hidden. Only the Blue Fairy knew that it was a pre-existing curse.
Because he's so close to getting the Dark Curse and seeing his son. Plus, if he starts joking around, the Queens will think something is up. He needs to make them think he's desperate like them, which he is, but for different reasons.
The dark curse was created by rumples mother the black fairy but blue fairy caught her and sealed the curse away we don't know how it got to the chernabog they never explain that

The sleeping curse--which she used to curse the apple eventually stolen by a blind witch, and then eaten by Snow once Regina got it back--failed to bring Regina success, so Regina wanted to trade back. But then Maleficent thought it was too dangerous, and so they fought.
to Billy 193, i think this curse he stole was probably the base of what he did. he used it to begin creating it and regina created the town with it. i don't think rumple has that much power to create that dark of a curse out of nothing. also, cruella is really the nicest of them all. i like her
Cookie Stew I'm assuming we're supposed to guess there's some kind of trap that prevents you from walking up to the curse, so they needed her tentacles to grab it from a safe distance. Or they just wanted to make her feel speshul.
They could of use some sort of telekinesis magic spell to do that. Seriously this was a pointless scene showing off their powers which rumple could of easily done by himself.
I'm guessing he just wanted them all together so they'd all die together and he wouldn't have to deal with them ever again. I forgot if this was before or after they kidnapped Belle, but I'm assuming he wanted revenge for that too.

There is a lot that COULD have been. It's all for the sake of storytelling. Why was Ursula needed? To introduce her to the audience. That's it. They could have added in some kind of aquatic creature for her to subdue but that would have been an added 5 minutes at least and they probably couldn't. At the end of the day, it's really not that important.

This confused me because in the pilot episode Maleficent had the dark curse in her staff to which Regina smashed and took. Did she get it from Rumple?
No maleficent got the dark curse from Regina who she trade with the sleeping curse that failed.
So what did Regina take from her in the pilot episode? Because there was no trade they fought and Regina took it.
