So you just described the first 44 years of my life lol 🤣 I was into Wicca, Paganism, I was a reiki 2 healer I was a psychic reader. I did all kinds of new agey and occult things. I've been Catholic for two years and thank God everyday for his love and mercy and for never giving up on me.
And did it happen to you like he said in the video, that when you tried to get out of it all, “they” attacked you and showed their real face?
I am asking because I am now in my converting process...

@@anastrawberry8047 Hi! I'm so happy to hear you're converting! To answer your question, yes they do show their real face. Please don't be afraid of this. Don't let it make you anxious just be aware, 'sober and alert' as 1 Peter 5 says. I think one of the biggest tricks the evil one played on me was to make me think I couldn't talk to my priests or my new friends in the church about this stuff. He made me think I'd be seen as too weird or too far gone and that I'd push them all away. I am blessed to have really amazing Priests where I live. I hope the same is true for you. Don't ever be afraid to seek help from our Priests.

I am a couple of months back into Catholicism and it’s very hard...I don’t know how much of my case I’d like to share in this public platform. I did asked you because I am still in shock, can’t believe somethings, you know, we thought they were “good spirits” that wanted to help humanity. I feel very embarrassed and stupid too. Plus the attacks.
I don’t have anybody to talk to because for so many years all my friends are into some kind of occultism. The ones I have “warned” about how deceived we were, don’t believe me. I’ve met a priest that I trust, thanks God, ...but others don’t believe in the “enemy”.

Oh man I had played the oija when I was I high school had no idea what I was getting into. Thank you God my grandma caught me and she destroyed it and prayed so much. Thank you Jesus Christ for protecting me. Thank you Mother Mary. And my Grandmother who was a devout Catholic.

I, too, was a new-ager before my conversion to Christ. I didn’t know it was wrong. I think it’s important to recognize how alluring it is because it seems good and harmless.
Exactly. Unless we're on our guard, we don't know just how sneaky and the Evil One is in luring us, unless we know what to look out for.
How did you realize it wasn't right
@@peaceandlove544 for me it was a process, the realisation came with starting to have unexplained health issues and my eyes were being opened to see what is going on with people in this environment, which wasn't good. One day I've bagged and thrown away all stuff related to new age. But total clearance took longer. It was 9 years ago.
@@peaceandlove544 While I was exploring New Age stuff, I was also curious about Christ. A friend invited me to a Christian retreat, and I went and experienced Christ and it changed my entire life.

Clear concise advice! How often we hear "I'm spiritual, not religious." This is a heavily secularized society yet their souls are searching and will never rest until they realize the true God 🕊
It always drives me crazy when someone ( especially in a work environment- non religious, non political) says " Im more ' spiritual' I know theyre not practicing anything except st mattress on Sundays. I have such! a hard time w ppl like this. I see it in their behavior. Truth is absent. More into saying marvelous things to their boss than any truth --- even if it upsets the boss. Im an RN so have seen alot. Yikes I have done yoga n many friends said no u shouldnt. I drowned out the pray @ end and the ummmms. Because the strtching helped my back. I didnt WANT to know this was dangerous.

Yes. Some people make an idol out of the search. I did. It is pride that makes us feel wise and label ourselves a Seeker. But how wise is it to only take bits and pieces that we like from this or that spiritual practice? It takes humility to accept the whole truth as revealed to us. There is love and mercy but some of the truth is also a hard pill to swallow. We have to confront the worst parts of ourselves to do that. So many people dismiss divine truth because they worship themselves and what they find easy. Hedonists do not want to alter their behaviours in any way. It will always be a struggle to bend our own will to that of God's will. It's not supposed to be easy. It's only easy when you allow Jesus to carry crosses with you.
@@nancybruns9057 If yoga was helping your back, then just do stretching in a not-yoga class. Perhaps pilates or calisthenics or physical therapy can help. Yoga positions worship Hindu gods so it's definitely a no no. Exorcists say it is an opening to the demonic.

I can attest to what Fr. Columba says that when you try to get out of that relationship with those spirits THAT'S when they show their TRUE colors. It's been 5 months since my reversion to Catholicism, and I've had the blessing of feeling God's bountiful, beautiful warm Mercy! Blessed be the Name of God, Jesus our Redeemer, and the Holy Trinity. And I constantly ask for Our Lady's protection. Thanks, Father!
Why do you ask the "holy lady" for protection? I thought the Bible says to ask of God, not of other spirits.
@@pbsamanthamarie Because Jesus came to us THROUGH Mary His Holy Mother. Without Mary there is no Jesus come in the flesh. You need to understand this if you want to be saved. All other forms of Christianity outside of Catholicism are NOT True Christianity and they offer NO chance of Salvation! There is No salvation outside of the Holy Catholic Church! Mary is far more Holy than any other Saint because she shares a Son in common with God the Father!!! NONE of us are as good as Mary.

@@pbsamanthamarie I will share this in hopes that you are open to learn the truth about Our Blessed Mother. It was The Virgin Mary, who was filled with The Holy Spirit, having been so loved into being for this purpose, to be the Holy Mother of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She, who carries Christ in her womb, because of this, is the Living Ark of the New Covenant. She nurtures Our Lord as a child as she nurtures all of us, her children as declared by Our Lord from the Cross when Christ said to St. John, "Behold your Mother," as He is about to give up His life and, "Woman, behold your son. " With these words, Our Lord Jesus Christ decrees that Mary is our Mother, The Blessed Mother of the brothers and sisters of Christ Jesus because St. John The Apostle is brother of Our Lord as are the disciples of Jesus Christ. We are not offering prays to Mary in place of God because we love God above all. Yet, rather, we praise Our Blessed Mother and ask her to pray to God on our behalf when we say the Hail Mary and The Holy Rosary, knowing that God will always answer the prayers of His beloved, most especially, the prayers of The Blessed Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ and our Savior.
@@pbsamanthamarie Before reverting back to Catholicism, I knew I had to ask for help from those in Heaven, for protection against my teacher. And of course I asked God, but something in me encouraged me to ask Blessed Miriam, Theotokos. I did, and she helped me revert, and I believe, has been guiding me to the precise Catholic (nihil obstat) medicine that I need. And I would come to learn that she, along with Jesus, are the ones to ask for protection against the Enemy. And there is a biblical reason why we are encouraged to go to Mary as our mother, because while on the cross, Jesus says to his mother and the Apostle, John, "Mother, behold your son...son, behold your mother". Jesus encourages us to call on His mother for help.
Deuteronomy 18... tells it all!
I stopped immediately, threw out over 10 boxes of new age things, even pictures, crystals, you name it.. even the dragons I had collected through the years.
BURNED books that I thought I would never ever burn a book in my life-time... and now live my life through Jesus, telling my story of stupidity and ignorance...
Our Eternal Father gave us All of the tools we need and it is called the Holy Bible...
Bible = Basic Information Before Leaving Earth...
We will perish for lack of information- i.e. NOT reading our Bibles

I also reverted to Catholicism via repentance (Sacrament of Reconciliation) and I renounced all of the diabolical practices I did. Jesus is so merciful to forgive us when we have strayed. Come back today to Jesus Christ!
The first time I heard about spirit guides is when the Lord revealed himself to me and I turned from atheist to full blown Catholic. I thank the Lord our God for watching out for me.
There's a LOT more to the story but long story short, abide in Christ. Period.

Please yes, you will never regret it, I came back after 30 plus years, and love and hate every minute lol, hate it because of my reluctance to do what's right, but even just recently our Awsome God removed and I mean it dropped to the floor, my sins of 50 years, cleaned me from head to toe,, I try to tell people of the little and great miracles that happens every day, but unless youve had that experience, well havnt found anyone yet how gets it.. God is calling You my friend please come be Catholic love ya
The lucky ones usually had the Catholic teachings before going into new age things. We could go back to the truth. Those that grew up in homes without Catholic teachings are floating in the ocean with no land in sight. Catholics reaching out to them would be a great mission.
I think some of us who were raised in Protestantism fell into these practices because of the lack of structure and ritual in the church, and it’s amazing to me how Catholicism fills those gaps. I think ritual and reverence are so important to the human spirit.

I turned away from Protestantism at 12 because I felt it lacked a heart & soul. The craziest thing was I searched out Pagan paths first because I was taught to fear Catholics so much that I actually felt Pagan paths were a more holy path. Wild times.
I've been round the ring a few times now, keep falling back into the fold of the Kingdom and keep falling short. I don't know why. It's tough, even though my life was saved by a miracle I keep having to strive to stay true.

Please Father pray for my niece who has turned away from her Catholic faith and practices Yoga and meditation daily. Also for the people whom I work around who practise Reiki Tarot cards and angel Reiki. I too was naively introduced to Reiki not realising what it actually was and did my level one( the ritual itself was so satanic) but I renounced it all when my priest in church mentioned it thank God. 🙏🙏🙏

Me too. Jesus was patient with me waiting to return to Him, until He wasn't. One day I heard clearly in my heart " Stop being like Hosea's wife Gomer and return to me, NOW!" ( He meant a spiritual harlot). I did, by God's loving grace. Blessed be His name forever.
God's timing is always perfect. There was a real, relevent reason for the urgency in His message to you. Someday it will all be explained. Your obedience was vital.

Thank you, Fr. Columba. I used to be a believer in superstition, feng shui and horoscopes. Also power yoga was popular back then and so were crystals. Honestly didn't see any danger in these things because they were all over in the newspapers and tv. My only regret is giving the crystals to a friend when i should have thrown it away.
Now I only believe in the one true God and nothing else, praise Jesus. God bless.🙏🙏

I was heavily involved in the occult / new age practices . Trying to get closer to and communicate with God and my angel. When you said your intentions for being in New Age I resonated with that so much. Since then i have felt so stupid wondering how I could have thought that way. It is comfort hearing you, a priest and a holy person, having a similar experience. I have confessed and no longer have any thing to do with any if it, but must say I am still haunted by it. You are so right in saying it is dangerous. It draws you in and there are lasting regrets. Thank you Father for addressing this topic. Crystals originally came from the Bible, the new age has twisted and distorted things for the demonic but that does not mean they do not have their original biblical correspondences , also the new age and Wicca came from people who came from Bible scholars who were apostate, they mark things God made with their nonsense and many Christians associate the idea with paganism , the new agers are wrong , yet they don’t own their words, the words come from the Bible and God sets the context, reaping and sowing is real, not the law of attraction, but it works because of how things work, yet the blinders are in the interpretation
Feng Shui = interestingly, some hints on interior design or garden design agree with old "guidelines".
My grandmother (born at the beginning of the 20th century) had already received some of the design tips from her grandmother and they had no idea about Feng Shui and came from a deeply Catholic, rural area;) However, I can honestly only compare the "practical" tips from a small book about FengShui with my grandmother's rules. Everything else was way too cumbersome for me ;)

As long as you’re praying, they will!! My mom is very into God. I grew up catholic and went to catholic school up until college when I discovered new age stuff. My mom never told me anything, but was always praying for me. Around 28yrs old I had a radical change and found my way back to God. Only at 34yrs old did my mom confess she was praying for me to get over that other stuff. I laugh about it now. Like wow God really does answer prayers. On his own time though
@@giannavillacres1051 Thanks Gianna, I've been prying for years. All I can do is trust that God will take care of it. My son has been into all this garbage since he was a teenager-he 36. And my daughter started when she was about 30. Following in her brother's footsteps I guess. Makes me sick inside as I know that it invites demons into their lives. So I pray and wait. Thank you for telling me your story. it gives me a ka bit more hope they can come out of this.
Well and lovingly spoken. I wound up sharing a room with another woman once and had two major spiritual disturbances during the night - I asked her next day if in her new age practice she had run into spirits and she said “oh yes, I have two spirit guides myself.” I said, “I think I met them.” Not to make too light but praise God for His protection.
Yes ! Thank God for His protection. I've experienced when the Spirit of God "reaches out" and takes contrary spirits [evil] captive. The person those spirits are associated with becomes agitated and confused as their "guide" is incapacitated. God doesn't allow harmful, deceptive spirits any freedom while in the presence of His own. God is Good

I was in that same boat, new age believing, searching for God in all kinds of things, I am so blessed to be back to Catholic teaching and protective Grace, Even recently, wanting to get in touch with my guardian Angle and listening to some newagey type meditation, that I will be going to confession for. I'm not sure I understand that because on page 60 (46) of the Golden Manual of 1850 is A Prayer to Your Guardian Angel. "Angel of God who art my guardian, enlighten, guard, direct and govern me, who have been committed to thee by the supernal clemency." Also the Eastern Orthodox have a supplicatory canon to the guardian angel of a man's life.
@@michellesmith5436 thank you for that Michelle, but I was listening to a guided meditation that was more a newagey type thing than a Catholic Christian meditation. It wasn't right in my case. I actually got a name and saw a face, but I'm not sure if I can truly believe it. I still want to know my guardian Angel's name, and I would love to see their face, so I'm still pursuing it but under God's grace instead

@@christinemcfarland7352 No that field actually requires a medical degree, there may be practices that add Eastern religious practices with it, so make sure it's just chiropractic, my Wife Daughter and myself go on a regular basis, nothing new agey about it, take care God Bless
I was gnostic before returning to catholicism (I was born and baptized catholic, but them I lived like protestant my whole life, until I abandoned it and finally became gnostic). I was into those philosophies from the ancient east and some new age ideals. Little by little, by studing, but most by experiencing things, I discovered that these things do not lead you to enlightment, but instead it often lead you to delusions. I was becoming very disconected to the world, and I thought it was good, but, the truth is that I was just running away from the things that I didn't like. I went into a spiritual crisis and depression, and then, in great misery I found out what the cross means. I found out what it means when Christ said: I am the way and the truth and the life. I only comprehended these words after I went throught many things, because I was very materialistic and hendonistic, even though in my mind I was "enlighted" and "spiritualy superior". Reading and studing about the teachings and the life of the saints, I was finally able to understand Christ and his gospel and see the true dimension of our misery as well. Today, I returned to catholicism, after so many years of delusions and spiritual confusion. My conversion continues: everyday I make an effort to fix bad old habits, so that my mind and soul won't go stray anymore. I do not fear my cross anymore, I do not run from it anymore, for now I know what it means to take up your own cross.

This so,so very necesary!!!! Thank you. I would also warn people about therapists, massages, etc. I have known therapists use Reiki on patients without consent. It is in hospitals and often used. Before having massages etc, ask investigate. It is also very dangerous to have this stuff done on you. Praise be Jesus Christ!!

I'm a clinical massage therapist and the centre where I work they all practice Reiki and other new age stuff people just aren't realising or don't care how dangerous this stuff is. There was a family fun day organised in a local vill the other week( my priest was telling us last Sunday) and it had mediums psychics tarot card readings crystals you name it all exhibiting the occult practices on Children! We must pray to our Lord to protect them from all of this🙏🙏🙏

@@Laura-iw3py it's a shame that often massage or a lot of so called "Holistic Therapies" practice these rituals. I don't like being called a massage therapist because of all the connotations that go along with that word. I simply help people who are in pain or injured it's not"massage" but combination of posture rehabilitation exercise and relevant release of restrictions in fascia and muscle. But I'm classed as an advanced clinical massage therapist 🙄 however the clients who are treated by me know my authenticity. Always read up on a massage therapist before going to see them. Final note when I was doing my Reiki level one and they were"preparing the room😲" I made the sign of the cross and said" dear Lord protect me from whatever is in there" I still can't believe I went through with it🙈but God was with me and sent enough people in toto my life to warn me . But in my heart I knew it wasn't right ...but still did it for a while🤷🤷🤷 and the first person he sent to me who was one of my clients in the early days of doing massage was a nun🙏🙏🙏praise God for his love and protection and God bless all of you here who have been brought to this video❤️❤️🙏🙏

Don’t think negative thoughts. Burn sage. Meditate. Buy crystals. Get your chakras aligned. If your life is still not going as you’d like then you need to do more of it.

We're getting nurtured like Gerry, thank you! A colleague once recommended a reiki healer to me. I had no idea what it was, so went, but I noticed his room was full of crystals and weird pictures of Jesus that didn't look like the Jesus I knew, and he looked a bit freaky to me, so I grabbed my handbag and said, is this anything opposed to Christianity? Of course he assured me that it wasn't, but he also told me that his knowledge didn't come from him but from 'them.' As he held his hands about a foot above my body, apparently he noticed some pain around my heart, which I could have told him too without demons. I endured and stayed polite for the session, but I never went there again. Jesus is enough for my heartaches.

By some Heavenly grace, probably due to my deceased praying mother, when doing the yoga meditation on one word, the word GOD popped in to my mind. Long story short... Came back to the Church!
Thank you Father. I have been so confused as i had been practicing Reiki and was always calling on Holy Spirit and Jesus as I worked. But i had also been in a yoga practice. Always my mind and heart wanting to be closer to God and Jesus. Until one day the guru I studied yoga under made this beautiful 3 part series on Jesus and in what seemed like a beautiful series it ended with his disciples taking him from the cross and therefore denouncing the resurrection or denouncing Jesus. He then stated that Jesus was a yogi - (which is a complement from him as he is also a yogi). He was always so kind to me and I saw him in my dreams - he never did anything to harm me and did give good advice. But the series on Jesus left me so suspicious as to his motive. Also when I was being consecrated at yoga practice - I was one of the only people who felt so empty and lost and scared at the end. I never removed my cross and was the only Christian or Catholic as far as I could tell. But at the end of the consecration in my minds eyes the gurus face warped into a demon and it left me so upset and confused. My friend told me spirits were just tricking me and that he is a good man. Which honestly he does seem like a good man. So I looked at my picture of the Divine Mercy and asked or told Jesus that he is my God and the One I want to follow and please and if there is anything I am doing that is not going in the direction He desires for me to let me know. I feel in many ways he let me know. There is much more to this story and I am on a journey. I find myself completely alone now - all my old friends gone. Even family not around so much. I have been trying so hard for so many years to be as close to God as possible and I think I must have taken some wrong turns. I am trying to right myself. I only wish I had some friends or community to do that with. I do attend mass at The Grotto and I was raised Catholic but was away from it for many years. I have much to say and often talk to the Priests at the Grotto. I say the rosary and pray every day often all day long I am talking to God - that's been my entire life. I have always loved God and Jesus. I am so disappointed I took wrong turns - there is much more to things. It has been a confusing and painful journey - but I am keeping my eyes mind and heart all on Jesus now. God Bless you for this and Thank you. Laura
I was a Reiki teacher by Rand, Lubeck & Petter… 3 exorcists told me get out of it… they also gave me books by Derek Prince ( They Shall Expel Demons ) & ( Pigs in the Parlor ) by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. The books said to rebuke renounce and reject each initiation/ attunement and symbol (( cho ku rei - is a coiled serpent a snake … the devil … get a grip )) and (( om )) is the symbol of Hinduism… a false religion… Then I took Reiki off of all my business cards, biz door etc. As I became catholic I thought as I prayed over a massage client “ Mark 16:17 in the name of Jesus I cast out of you any demons of reiki that I or others put in you… and this dark wisp of a cloud spirit about the size of a hand left the person’s body. I concur with this. I had/have a friend, I will call her name Roma. When I was living a very athletically active life, she, Roma, who was beginning to explore alternative religious beliefs and practices, ventured into several newly professed beliefs from Indian cults and eventually to Reiki channeling. I only knew her while we were training in our athletics. I watched from the sidelines and listening, I realized it was not anything that I understood. So, I am certain that no amount of warnings would have had the least effect. Watching her carrying cards of Swami in her car and praying constantly to these deified personalities was sad. I prayed for her. When she became a practicing Reiki healer, I silently thought it was either foolishness at least or very seriously a dangerous thing to do, especially at that level. As she purchased electronic equipment to provide these healing services. I kept my distance in silence except for the occasional mention of my Catholic faith. I do sometimes write to her via social media about my faith and I have not criticized her for her beliefs. Do the Scriptures say not to try to teach the foolish? That they will only disparage you for it? I recall her saying that she was never told by her parents, that she was loved by them ever. Profoundly sad. She is in need of a return to a Christian faith miraculously as I think she was Baptized. She was working as an administrator for the Psychology Department at a major University when this exploring began and reading and editing the transcripts of the Psych. counseling sessions was part of her job. Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus Christ, please, we pray, for mercy for those who are your children and most in need of thy Mercy and who God promises would not be lost forever.
I think you are well protected, and definitely keep your distance from that what she does, but keep in touch with her because I can tell you, that there will be a time that she crashes when everything she is trying and believing in no longer fulfills. I was same, we want God's Holy presence in our lives, but looking in the wrong places. God saved me from this, I believe He will save her from it also, Keep praying for her, don't give up on her, God hears your beautiful prayers for her keep going.
Do try to talk to her out of love don't be agressive but try to warn her of the dangers of doing so if she doesn't lkisten to reason pray for her
If you know that she is baptised catholic I think you should lovingly talk to her about our Catholic faith. Fulfil in her what is incomplete. God bless you

They stormed out leaving me and my children utterly drained, dazed and the girls were frightened so much by their rage. This was 30 years ago and I haven’t heard or seen them since . I tried to contact with Christmas on the way but as I guessed they’d not want me. So I was left in life alone to raise my girls . Two of whom have since found my sisters without my knowing and have relationships with them . My daughters no longer speak or keep in touch with me. I can imagine how they have been played, with their loving compassionate understanding natures , they got sucked into all the new age sickness. Last year my grandson and daughter told me they have nightmares and grandson sees a man at the bedroom door every other night. He cries himself to sleep terrified ! I’ve quietly along with birthday presents gave them blessed crucifix’s to put above their beds . But their mum has those dream catchers instead ! I could go on……. Pray for them, for Jesus is our faithful redeemer and High Priest. I have some similar issues, and I know how overwhelming the burden you feel can be. But remember our Christ has ALREADY conquered the enemy. I stand on His Word, His promises, and it is our job as mothers and grandmothers to pray for them. It is a spiritual battle. Do not grow weary. When you are too tired, give it to the One who knitted them together in their mother's womb: The Holy God who will never, ever be defeated and who has warrior angels to battle for us. I found Novena's to be really powerful, that means you pick a prayer or set of prayers (like the Hail Mary prayers) and do them for a continuous 9 days if you miss a day you need to start again, it could be that you go to mass on the first Friday of every month for 9 consecutive months and offer this up to God to bring them back to the Catholic church.

i really can't blame a lot of people for turning towards 'alternative' faiths, and for me, it felt like a wonderful alternative to Religion, to the Church, cos that seemed so archaic and burdened with stigma and negative connotations... i used to be happily Catholic, when i was young, until i learnt about all the oppression {of women, for instance} and scandals {vicars & young boys} and stuff that i didn't want anything to do with... i heard the stories from my mum, who was bullied by the nuns that taught her at primary school, cos her family was quite poor... i'm still not 100% on board, for those reasons - something in me still mistrusts Religion - but i *want* to believe, cos i know how much it helped me back in my younger years, how nice it felt to know about God and Jesus...

Oh Father- I thought the TV show, The Medium, was legit! Her house has a statue of Our Blessed Mother out front! She knew things about people that died that she couldn’t possibly know! Yikes! I was an occultist for about a decade or so, then just kind of 'spiritual' before going deistic until I ended up in the Church.
Honestly, the navel gazing and crystal crap always bothered me. I was drawn to hard, manifest ceremony and ritual. It's probably why I left non-denominational Christianity for so early. There was no real action taken, it was all 'mindset' kind of theology.
The liturgy, the ceremony, the serious grounding of the spiritual in manifest action is a huge part of what drew me into the Church. It makes sense to me given my background, even if it differs in that the sacramentals aren't imbued with any power and that it is all about grace and power from God rather than trying to channel and contain spiritual forces and powers.
I feel like, because of my history, I should be able to find a way to use that in my own mission and evangelization. It's hard though, those who are deep into this sort of stuff might be some of the most resistant, likely because they have deep connections to dark forces that aren't going to just give them up.
And if you have been into this stuff, in addition to confession you may need a priest to pray for you. I have known cases up close.

AMEN. I’m a Cradle Catholic but I got into New Age a few years ago, because I most definitely was not living in my faith. It started with Astrology and slowly I ended up entertaining all kinds of deception including Tarot ( but I was still asking St Michael to show me what I needed to see 😫🚮) trying to incorporate God still into such blasphemy. I thought I was a master Manifester, capable of all kinds of magic, and although I didn’t see myself as a human God, I was playing God for sure. Deep down, I knew all of it was wrong. These demons have such a powerful way of seduction and delusion. My life was not filled with genuine safe and healthy relationships. Eventually I realized I wasn’t “ manifesting anything “ magical but just a sequence of never ending “ not yets” in disappointments and deceptions leading to turmoil and a serious lacking moral compass. Thank you God for saving me and finding me where I was and loving me and never letting go.

I too was exploring "healing touch" and "chi power" manipulations while involved with Karate. One afternoon seemingly out of the blue I felt a strong presence next to my bed where I was reading and I KNEW in my heart that it was Jesus and that I HAD to quit the Karate and walk away from it all. It took an entire year, confession and some counseling for me to get away from it, but I had no choice. When you hear from Jesus, there is no other choice! THANK GOD!!

Hi Father, Thank you, this is very much needed in the Church. I was a cradle Catholic, wandered away into Evangelical/Messianic churches, never "prosperity gospel" and actually learned a lot of this there. I came back to the Catholic Church last year in Israel where I live and sometimes when I mention these things, even to our priests, I get the blank stare. Our main Church is Carmelite but there's a branch congregation for Hebrew speakers. I prefer the Arab Mass but that's beside the point. I was telling the priest for the Hebrews who is from Colombia about the Three Days of Darkness and he'd never heard about it. The deacon who is about to be ordained did look it up and even when he mentioned it, Father didn't comprehend it at all. BTW, they are Neo Catechumenal and I don't feel comfortable with that movement. I really don't want to go to the Ordination and since the young man will not be staying with us, I think I can skip it. They want to come to my house a few days earlier to pray and I don't have a peace about that either. They aren't going to say Mass, but they have done in other homes. That I won't allow and I won't participate. If a house hasn't been exorcised and consecrated, Uhuh, No way.

These other influences can feel like an easy answer and are so attractive and powerful for someone who is vulnerable. When one feels downtrodden by loneliness and sorrow or feels unloved or outcast, these spirit based practices can often bring attention to them and seem to fill their emptiness. This need for attention from others through these things are not of God and His good . I think we need to try and be more aware of those who may be at risk due to the way they are feeling and take the extra time to show love, prayer and support for them. I have known those feelings at times in my life, as I think we all have, and so it can give us more compassion to understand and help and to pray 🙏. What a wonderful message. I especially liked the end where Fr Columba stated that he engaged in all of these wrong practices, but with a loving heart. Mine was loving too, and oh so egotistical. I work in my lord's vineyard now, a bonded slave.

As always you nailed, very well explained. Once in a forum someone explained his desire to be friends with demons and I realized there something that I gave for granted, that the most of the people including some Catholics don’t have idea what we are against upon to, the ignorance of the spiritual world amaze me but who fault is that, the Modernism that had infiltrated the Universal Church of JC. I wasn’t raised in the Faith and when I converted and did to the modern church so I was a losy Catholic, but when the spiritual world showed itself to me I knew that I have to learn more about it because knowing the enemy is the best way to defeat it, I know God allowed this to happen so I learn a lesson. These rebels angels are real, tangibles, they pollute your mind with bad advices and horrible thoughts and if you don’t identify the source you can do bad decisions and actually many marriages and families fall apart because of them. Our CC is a Kingdom and it’s beautiful and there are for all the flavors, we are all different but Catholicism is so rich and vast from mysticism ( why you want to be New Age when you have the real thing) levitation, healings, ubiquity be in two places at the same time, transport, etc we are just ignorant, if you are brainy, there are so much material to learn from, theology, philosophy etc, we are at war and we have to fight because of not they will end up destroying us. Follow Father Ripperger who teaches about the spiritual world and is also in TH-cam, and read all about it. 2023 of fighting because the only real enemy for Satan is the Catholic Church, why do you think is that?
The Name of Jesus has great power over the spiritual realm because He sacrificed Himself to set us free. Nothing and nobody else has done that.

And we each have a Guardian angel who we can ask to help us, along the those of others. Hi Fr. Columba! Thanks for discussing this bcoz not a lot of faithfuls are aware of the dangers of these involvements. New Age stuff or activities are everywhere nowadays. So, we have to ask the Holy Spirit to give us the discernment to know if this is coming from God or from the devil. I’ve involved myself with a few of New Age and even occult. Thank God for His mercy and love that he is delivering me from them. It isn’t easy at all but by God’s grace, I persevere. There is so much peace and joy from our Lord Jesus! Praise God!
I used to know a young Jesuit, Roman Catholic priest and he led Catholic prayer and incorporated yoga postures for the healthy body side of things, kind of like how we use the different postures, kneeling, sitting, and standing during a mass, and it was great and a way that the young adult community gathered to pray (obviously in the name of God the Father, Son , and Holy Spirit, our One God), with the newly ordained priest at the time

You are so right. From 1974 to 2001 I was heavily into TM..Transcendental Meditation. I even taught it to others. It was a complete waste of my life. It promised "cosmic consciousness" after 5-7 years of practice. Then, you were told you would move on to God consciousness, then unity consciousness. They sold an advanced program that "taught" people to "fly" and promised "hovering", IF you became pure enough. If you didn't achieve any of this, it was a sign that something was wrong with YOU. It was never that something was wrong with their instruction program. In 2001, I almost committed suicide, but by the sheer grace of God, Jesus made Himself known to me on the spot and I did not go through with it. He saved me and I have been devoted to Him ever since. The Holy Spirit has been leading me and teaching me and changing me daily so that I am no longer lost. After my encounter with Jesus, I threw all of my TM books and teaching paraphernalia into the trash. I have experienced the darkness of evil spirits. They are real and they hate humans and want nothing more than our spiritual destruction. Satan craves our worship but if he can't have that, he'll settle for enticing us away from God so that when we die, we will spend eternity in He'll, permanently away from God. Do NOT let him have you.

I was into new age for a while too, having strayed from Catholic faith after a tough breakup. Father you are so right about the spirits and their lies and true colour. Please make more videos on this topic because many people are trapped by these spirits and their lies.
I ran to God in the lowest point of my life and in desperation, and He accepted me all my flaws and brokenness because He is that loving and merciful.
A little while ago I realized that angels have it worse off than we do while we're sill alive. When we reject God, we have a chance to change to the very last moment of our life. We have a chance to accept God and ask for forgiveness. Whereas angels, when they reject God, they can't go back and ask for forgiveness because they have made a sober, and eternal decision.
It’s a matter of free will, choosing between the temporary “visible” or the eternal “invisible”.
