I've been quite miserable too for the last 1.5 months with different viruses. Not fun at all! On another note, my XJ40 will go to sleep for the winter (Canada) this weekend. It has really been good and reliable this summer, which is amazing!
I’ve just noticed that the car’s registration is HGS 609, and Harry Metcalfe’s green XJ 12C has been given the registration HUG 53S…. (5.3, S = 1977/1978, Harry’s Garage)
Glad you're feeling better finally. Glad to have the ol gal back on the road. If you could do a summary of the rust proofing you've done that would be great. Iowa puts down a liquid salt mixture, so would be great to see what you've done. I know you've done the sills, but where else? Thanks.
Hi Adam. Glad you are recovering from the sickness you have been fighting. You mentioned squeaking with the power steering, my '83 XJ6 has that problem, it would be great to learn how to lubricate for that problem. Best to you,
Hi Adam in Australia we have a similar system with registration but it's 30yrs and you have to be in a club witch has a register to check over the car Also I was wondering weather as a member of your channel are the extra videos more mechanical Also are you planning to rebuild a v12 engine at all Keep up the great work thanks
The extra videos are a bit of a mix. Some are mechanical and then it may not be strictly Jaguar based. Other times it’s early sneak peaks of future projects or material that doesn’t fit on the main channel. Yes there will be a V12 rebuild at some time. The V12 in my XJ12 will get torn down pretty far too
I've been "under the weather" . . . blue skies, puffy white clouds, bright sunshine, mowing my lawn in shorts and t-shirt! 🙂
It's amazing how much grief an apparently trivial problem like a burnt-out bulb and/or a bad ground can inflict.
A 5 minute job that turned into a 45 minute job

Good work Adam
those five minute jobs always take an hour. some of these old bulbs i add a bit more solder to the bit's of lead on the end as they do wear out.
Please fix drivers door trim, sticks out every time we see the car, great car by the way, feel better.
