Can we just take a moment for Veggie who DIDN'T CAST HIS COMMANDER EVEN ONCE when he had a full graveyard to make slivers unblockable and pump them real hard ? Both are in kill range for 3 turns...

I wonder if Veggie could have done some encore shenanigans the turn after the All is Dust, where he taps encore copies for mana to encore other slivers, then eventually uses that mana in combination with Hollowhead Sliver to either cast or encore a bunch of Slivers from his library
for the "guff rewrites history" turn, a few thing to note: it reveal nonland card so the path of exile would have been legal and played instead of the mana rock. Also with copy of spell with target, all target must be selected as the spell is put on stack so meteor golem could not be sent back with one of the 3 copy as it entered via one of them. Don't know how much this would have changed the game but wanted to precise this since its a new card for possible player playing it after seeing that
and the meteor golem is cast, so zuladok had to cascade twice

haven't seen this channel but I love it! games with precons tend to be commodore scuffed and those are some of the most fun games! top tier seeing all these personalities interact through the decks mechanics!

47:58 Airball should have declared all of his targets for the original and both copies of Guff Rewrites History when they hit the stack, not one by one.

The triggers from the slivers only apply to the next sliver that comes in and not already when the sliver comes in that gives this effect. Thus, for example, you would not have been able to have two Eldrazi Goats, but only one. And the Slivers don't die from blocking, as they are still indestructible. Well, there are a few bugs to complain about, but it was still a nice game
The official ruling says:
7/18/2014 When Constricting Sliver enters the battlefield, the ability it gives itself will trigger.
So it would trigger right away, so they played correctly.
Just a couple mistakes that I noticed:
50:35 - Guff rewrites history can hit any nonland off the top but a Path to Exile is skipped over.
56:03 - Icon of Ancestry will put the card into your hand, not onto the battlefield.
Edit:
1:17:47 - Everflowing Chalice is tapped for mana despite having no charge counters on it.
Honestly the icon misplay was a biggie, since he cast his commander and O ringed a few creatures. At least the board got wiped right after tho.
@1:10:50 Zbexx declared attacks on MTGNerdGirl when she had a Sandwurm Convergence, which she can't.
@@dvdpekard Sandwurm Convergence prevents people from attacking with fliers, so those attacks were still legal since I don't think any of the creatures had flying.
Also i think copy of deepsglowskate it was supposed to double since it entered battlefield?

The triple 'Rewrites history' had a small missplay, since it actually let you cast spells. I think Airball missed casting a Path to exile at 50.40 ;)
They'd also need to select targets when each is put on the stack, rather than selecting targets after each resolves. Easy mistake to make!
Wonderful game! I've never believed that such exciting finale is possible when playing precons.
Happy to see these in action! Technically veggie shouldn't have been able to draw off the cycling trigger with Narset still out, btw.
The encore ability means that the copies must attack each opponent and the Slivers could not all go at the Eldrazi’s meaning that Slivers wouldn’t have won (correct me if I am wrong)

Yeah glad someone pointed that out. She was already in the weakest position, and overlooking that put her in a worse one.

Every game I’ve watched with the precons have been very close as far as each popping off then being dealt with. Can’t wait for Anikthea to arrive
Even tho Zbexx's creatures were Goaded, there was a Sandwurm Convergence on MTGNerdGirl's board, which states that she can't be attacked by creatures without Flying.
Goad forces the creature to attack a player other than the Goader if able. In other words, if it can attack it must. And if it can attack someone other than the Goader, it must. If there are no other options, then the Goader must be attacked (if able).
So Zbexx could only attack VeggieWagon while Goaded.
It's creatures with flying not without flying

I ❤ Sliver but I ❤❤❤❤ Eldrazi and after watching this I desperately want that Eldrazi deck more than ever along with the Sliver deck.

This was a great game! I'm excited for the Eldrazi deck but the enchantment one looks awesome as well.
Was there something I missed. All is dust exiles everything, so nothing dies, and nothing goes to the grave.

Oh my gosh!! Turn 3- (7 drop and its her commander..then l8r she ob like. To destroy net's disk. With 10 mana in 1 turn after she did stuff already....man that Eldrazideck ain't no joke.

As much hate as these decks have gotten on reveals, each deck really shined this game. I am super excited to pick up my sliver and Eldrazi deck now.
All is dust is such a wonderful card.....especially if you can flash it out
Guff Rewrites History lets you cast the revealed cards. ZBexx should've gotten a twin cascade trigger off of hitting the Meteor Golem. Still a clutch line of play.
No missed cascade, the Zhulodok only gives cascade to 7 cost spells you cast from your hand, spells in exile would not activate the trigger

What a fun game! Every deck looked like a solid threat at times. I wish these decks were a bit more affordable, so I could pick one up. I very much love Abzan and Enchantments, so that was my initial fave. The Eldrazi looks fun and is just straight silly. I'd probably pick that one up if I had crazy money to keep up with MTG's inflation.
Yeah I just purchased the Sliver deck and after my body bought the enchantment deck. Slivers set me back 90$. Now I want the Eldrazi too, my wife is gonna kill me

Today I learned that All is Dust doesn't wipe out lands, and that it wipes everything else out...
My "friend" has some explaining to do.
Ouch. That is a tough one. To be fair it is a rather common mistake believing that lands have a color. They also do have color identity for commander, so its confusing.
I feel the pain of playing zuladock just to get bullied before doing anything.

At 28min the trade was wrong, i believe the cleric and heliod have menace and were blocked with only one creature each.... that guff should have taken damage

the way that it was shot idk if its the boom arms or just players not knowing eachother that well but there didnt seem to be very much authenticity; like the video was scripted but it felt in a sense that it wasnt. It was still enjoyable to watch it just felt off.

For actual gameplay the mana isn’t such a big deal. It is horrible value and deck building, but slivers are still very strong.
Hi there is a missplay in minute 12. Can not draw after cycle farmland because of narset
How do I get one of those massive cards on the wall? Also instead of hibernation sliver you could have gotten gemhide. Then tapped for mana to get shifting. Slivers still won so doesn't matter lol. Just outsider looking in.
Anyone else go "NOOOOOOOO" when you see an obvious miss play that actually has a huge effect?
