Video was impressive. I can understand, how the aged people enjoy the holiday. I have planned a trip next month. By the way, pls share the cost of each stay, taxi, activities etc since the travel lovers are enthusiastic. 😊🙏 7:53
Beautiful resort in Lovina!! We respect and agree with your decision not to go dolphin watching (chasing). We also skipped that activity when in Lovina, however the snorkeling experience was top notch! If you take a boat over to the island reserve, the snorkeling is the best we have ever done! Clear water and so many species of fish and coral! Looking forward to your Java video - we have never been! Cheers!
We weren't too sure about the snorkeling. I (Chris) used to scuba dive when I was younger, but I haven't done much snorkeling that was truly great. It always seems like an over-priced boat trip with lots of crowds. I'm sure there are some great places, but we just decided to soak in what became our private pool. Now we're heading across Java by train. Waiting for your next video. I hope Sadie is behaving. -Chris
It was hard getting into a new van life routine. Seeing family and friends and catching up put editing on the back burner. Launching a new video finally this morning ! lol
Many people from the countryside are moving to bigger cities to find jobs. Even though the resort is small but it can help to create some jobs so people do not have to leave their hometown for cities. It was very nice to have only 6 villas. It would not destroy the peaceful atmosphere of the place and absolutely bring the relaxing private space to anyone staying there. Nice natural sounds in this video, the birds singing, sound of the springs, etc.
Yes. Tourism has brought a lot of money to Bali, but it has also changed the island. It’s difficult to know whether things are better or worse because of tourism. The northern part of the island seemed impacted by COVID as we saw many businesses that were closed. We hope that our stay was helpful to the local economy and we feel incredibly lucky that we were able to stay at such at nice place. Yes, the sounds of nature were beautiful to wake up to. 🙏☺️
Hi Connie! Thanks for checking out our channel and commenting. The green bag is the Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bag. Stephanie loves it!! We bought it in Thailand, but they seem to be available worldwide. www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E461053-000/00?colorDisplayCode=57
Wow! Such an amazing and simple video! I’m from India, going to Bali next month. I’ve seen videos of at least 7-8 people and none was as nice as yours. Gonna all your Bali videos now. 👍 One question- I have some mobility issues and breathing problems. Are there many steps in this Lovina resort? Can you also suggest some waterfall where I can enjoy decent views without needing to climb steps. Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching and leaving such a nice comment. There were steps on the property that we needed to take to get to the dining room, but it was not a lot. It’s a small property, but it’s on a hill so walking to the spa, for instance, requires taking stairs. Regarding waterfalls, we didn’t visit any, but there are a few nearby. The resort can probably arrange and excursion, but you might want to inquire with them. As you can see from the video, we mostly stayed on the property. 🙏☺️
If you’re going straight to Lovina from the airport, it’s a long drive (3-4 hours depending on traffic). We heard the snorkeling was very good, but are not really in to that so didn’t try it. At the beach there are a lot of people that will approach trying to sell you jewelry, art, and clothing. Honestly, we just chilled at our tiny resort which for us was really fun. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your time. Chris & Steph
1000 dream Bungalow is a great little hotel right on a wonderful stretch of beach with a private beach. An oasis right by the sea. I prefer to live right by the sea than up in the hinterland. Also read my review on Google Maps. Otherwise, Lovina Beach isn't really that great.

@mitchandjan totally understand. We usually take time off when we visit family so it’s pretty amazing you’re keeping the pace.
WOW VERY NICE RESORT, ITS CLOTHING OPTIONAL SWIMMING POOL ?
😂😂 We had swimsuits on. Stephanie had a bandeau top on. Apparently it’s French. 😂😂

Watching your KL video right now!
@drnikhil143 KL was very hot, but very affordable. You can get some great accommodations. We stayed for a month.
Headed to Lovina in Oct for 10 days. Any advice?
