The elastic band seems like a very likely point of failure.

I’ve been eyeing this thing. It would great as a bedside caddy and charger that can go with you during travel (hotel, Airbnb, families) when things clear up but also great for the mobile creative. I’ve been waiting for version 2 because I feel one coming

Good video. Seems like a hefty price for a fairly small little case. Makes no sense that you need to use up some of the valuable internal space with your own battery pack to make use of the charging capabilities.
I’d have to agree with you on that... while I don’t think it’s undoable it’s just sitting right at that price point where I’m not sure I could imagine being really happy purchasing it for myself when thinking about how much it was 😅 just a bit lower like 70$ and I think I’d feel more okay with it.
You don't have to put the power bank into the Nest, you can also keep it in your bag...
I opt to just plug into a wall and not bring a separate power bank for it. Much smaller form factor, but I also prefer just to charge my peripherals with wireless charging, and reserve my phone for wired because it's just so much faster.

I do agree. Plus I enjoy that he does these things (while it said it’s paid) for products that aren’t just way over priced or useless to most.

the minimalist use case is overshadowed by the price being over $100. a middle-ground of a slightly larger box carrier that fits the stuff from your small bag would be more practical... that would be about the size of a small lunchbox or bento box and possibly with a handle. and it should be under $100.

The elastic seems a bit loose, and it will wear and tear very quickly with daily use

I have a really hard time seeing any value in this item. Not as innovative as their actual orbit key and seems pretty gimmicky. Personally I think the tech pouch you showed off is MUCH nicer. And you won’t look like “that guy” setting up his personal office space when you unload a weird bento box of tech at your cafe LOL.

Nice box but very expensive. I have a bag that I bought in Amazon for 10 Usd and obviously not charge my devices but is cheaper than this box and I can sort my cables and accessories.

Nice video, but honestly this product doesn't offer a $100 value... They make cool stuff like the orbitkey (reaally good) but this? Nice, but too expensive

How to market total useless product using youtubers these days !
Useless for you maybe, but I can see it being useful for me. When I come to the office, I unload my pockets on the desk, iphone, wallet, microfiber cloth, airpods pro. This little box could keep my desk organized and keep my iphone and airpods charging wirelessly. Before heading home I could then only pack the Nest into my bag and leave the office. Organized, saves time, looks cool.

Look it is just a small box. Boxes can be useful. It just so happens not much actually fits. The wireless charging is pointless.
BTW I received one as a gift. I am trying to figure out a polite way of telling them to try and get their money back. I am actually angry humans came up with such a terrible product.
