Its a shame that the gadget/desk tidy, orbitkey nest is like £90, it's also a little too shallow depth-wise, if it was taller just enough to put a few more things in or not super tiny earbud cases, power bank, mouse etc
It's not suitable for ALL occasions. You can find similar I'm sure. It's a flat box with a lid and modifications to help storage. A decent DIY job and you have something that resembles it.
I recently just purchased one and found it to be great but am I the only one that finds the wireless charger VERY slow as well as creating so much heat? I hope it's not just me...
Was thinking about backing this and then I realized my current organizational set is more practical and more fitting to what I need. To me, this is a luxury item that doesn’t excel in improving my organization in any way to justify the price.
I like the idea and look of it, but I wonder if it will just add more bulk to my life. Keeping my keys and a slim wallet in my pocket, small laptop/tablet bag that can also fit in the minimal wires/mouse I might need. Feels like this would take up MORE space and be more difficult to carry around. I specifically stop carrying my Bose QC35 and Nintendo Switch in their cases to reduce the size of stuff I carry around.
I don’t take either of those 2 examples daily, but I choose to forgo a case to reduce bulk, this would be re-adding bulk. if you go between one or two locations regularly you could just stick a wireless charger on your desk at 2 or 3 locations
I use a .50 Caliber Ammunition Box as My Lockable “Every Day Carry”.

Can it fit macbook magsafe version chargers?
The brick could be fitted yeah, but it would be really hard to fit everything else, power cable, laptop cable etc.

so if the lid is open so you can access your things you can´t charge your phone and if you are charging your phone you cant get to your stuff....seems a silly bit of kit - an old cookie tin serves the same purpose

That Moiré effect is quite distracting
Nice product and review. I would however never need to pack my passport together with a pocket knife. But it is indeed a very stylish and practical organiser which will be drawing a lot of attention during meetings with customers. And thus justify the price to get one. I only wished that there would be a flat area to add my NFC contact info sticker, and business logo or QR-code sticker. But they will easily find a spot inside the lid. Just hope the lid hinges will support my lage screen phone. Again, nice and relaxed review style, going into the real use functionalities. Well done!

Why are orbitkey products overpriced ?
Because it's a niche, "fashion" / trend brand etc, look at Ridge wallet they can charge £80+ for something worth £20 but the name adds value as people will know Ridge is cool.

Honestly, unless you're OCD or want everything to fit snug - this isn't that useful as you can just put it all in a carry-on bag or backpack. Not very useful in my opinion.
