When I was a young teenager, I started watching beauty videos on TH-cam. You being one of the channels I frequently watched. Now, I always get compliments on how well I do my makeup. I have to give you credit for teaching me. My mom was never one to do much with her makeup and my sister wasn't around when I was growing up. You became my big sister! Thank you!

That Ink Crayon in “lead the way” is my perfect nude. When I tried it I thought yes, now I know what people mean when they say they have found the perfect nude lip. 😁 I also like to put on top of it sometimes Revlon HD vinyl “birthday suit”. That’s a really great combo.

I enjoyed CHEER so much! The way you saw so many aspects that showed them as acrobats/performers/artists/strategists etc who worked towards a goal, knowing the time of being a cheerleader would inevitably end and wouldn't be a sport they'd do for years and years to come - and still the dedications and willpower. It was so interesting to watch!! .... and I'm from Germany and didn't know the first thing about cheerleading lol I watched it through in two days!

I just heard today that our local Rite Aids have finally switched over to Walgreens. So will be making a trip to see what new makeup line we will have. I will also be looking for makeup for the pantone color, classic blue this year. I may be old but i still love the 70s.
My local riteaid switched over to walgreens too and I was so excited thinking that we'd finally get some of those new brands that Walgreens carries, but guess what? They haven't added in any of the new/different brands that Walgreens carries. They essentially kept the makeup section the exact same as it was when it was riteaid. & That store has now been walgreens for about a year now. I kept thinking it might just take them some time to switch it over fully, but a year later and no changes have been made. I hope you have better luck with your new walgreens.

At my local Walgreens the ad for that foundation has Christy Turlington in all her glory, she is gorgeous. Beautiful model. 1 of my favorites for sure.

Voss has a pallet that has fall vibes and to be honest is the champ when it comes to fall recomend highly and the formula is so nice.
Maybelline has a bronzer that I think is called The city Bronzer. I haven't tried it but other fairer skinned people seem to like it.
I loved the foundation on my dry, over 40 skin and the palette was a definite upgrade for Maybelline! 😍😍😍 I didn't love the cream blushes because they lifted my foundation underneath and remained tacky on my skin. I loved the new CoverGirl and Milani cream blushes though...they dry down completely and last longer on my skin. 🙌
The Maybelline City Bronzer is pretty good, I bought it on Allie Glines' recommendation.

Maybelline is hitting it out of the park lately, their 2 latest foundations - Dream Radiant liquid, which you reviewed here (I had no oxidation at all in a fair shade), as well as the Dream Urban Cover, I just love them both! And the Master Chrome highlighter in rose gold (which you used in this video) is fabulous! Their Tatoo Studio eyeshadow pots, eyebrow pencils, FitMe powders, all are wonderful for me, a 60 something fair skinned makeup lover. Your honest reviews are so appreciated, and I am looking forward to trying out the eyeshadow palette and mascara!
I went to Navarro College for a couple of semesters. It cracks me up that everyone “knows” the school now. I’ve heard so many people talk about this series but haven’t checked it out myself yet.
Fun video! Oh my goodness, who remembers Bonnie Bell? The blush brought me back! I used to use their gel blush. As for the color of the foundation u used, it didn't look dark after the concealer and powder. Pretty look😊
I use the real techniques small setting brush for highlighter and the highlighter brush for concealer. They work so well for those tasks.
I love that they used the names of the first matte ink liquid lipsticks for the names of the shadows in the palette.
I have mad respect for you Emily. I have literally cut every other beauty youtuber out of my TH-cam diet for awhile. You are always true to you!
Love how some of the shades in that palette (globetrotter, voyager, etc) match up with the matte ink shades! Really fun detail there.
The Purple Essence Princess Mascara has a curved brush and I think at $4.99 it does way more than that Maybelline one. If you've never tried that one, you should. It's really amazing.
Emily I have to thank you. Because of you mentioning this highlighter brush for concealer a few months ago I have now picked up 2 of them. It is by far my favorite brush for concealer and I would have never tried it since it’s called a highlighter brush!! Love your videos Emily!!! ❤️

The Maybelline City bronzer in shade 100 and 200 are both AMAZING!!! Just as good as the new Milani bronzer, and I love both of those shades. The 200 shade is probably my most used though.
One more thing from Maybelline I have fallen for is their tattoo gel eyeliners. I love the black, brown, walnut, deep teal, and navy.
Emily! I would really love it if you would do a round up and ranking of all the drugstore-priced eyeshadow sticks currently out (or do both drugstore and higher end). It seems like a product that all brands release every few years but then discontinue really quickly! I love the format for traveling (don’t like to bring my softer shadow pallets and have them break) or my quick face with a 1-shadow-look in my to-go makeup bag. Only one I can find lately that sets is ELF’s and I have to pay to ship it because it’s never in stores.

I use the Maybelline eyebrow pomade in blonde, and it’s nice because it isn’t so orange. It’s so hard to find an ashy blonde that isn’t too orange.
That Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Rose is the only highlighter that I have ever hit pan on. I love high-end makeup and that drugstore Highligher is definitely a favourite

It annoys me so much when brands continually name things after New York and California -- like the Nudes of New York Palette. Maybe because I was midwestern born and raised haha! I just feel like it's a cop-out way for cheap brands to seem more luxurious and expensive, but it's so overdone and boring. How about a Nudes of Alaska? Nudes of Nebraska!? Haha.

Interesting fact: in Canada our main drug stores (Shopper's Drug Mart and Rexall) have jacked up their prices of drug store makeup. A bottle of Maybelline foundation here is now $20+. Whereas our Sephora stores are not increasing prices by as much. It ends up being more economical to buy higher end foundation at Sephora but using a bit less (which you're able to given it's a higher end product) then buying drug store.

I just bought the eyeshadow pallet last week and love it!! I really don't care for maybelline eyeshadows but this has become my go to everyday pallet! Great color payoff and blends so good!

I miss seeing the babies and Bub! Also, I'm at a loss, my mascara is ALWAYS on my lids and under my eyes.... my lashes are pretty long but not sure what is going on lately. Doesn't matter what brand I use. Any pointers?
Tiffany Merritt I had the same problem for a long time. I have long eyelashes and slightly hooded lids that are somewhat oily so I’d always have raccoon eyes within a few hours. I started to basically “bake” my eyelids and just right under my eye with a good quality translucent powder before applying my eye makeup. It’s helped me, maybe it could help you too :)
The "Globetrotter" shade in this pallate reminds me of the"Globetrotter" lippie that Maybelline has...

Maybelline rolled out City Bronzer last January. It’s very nice, Matt and has a few shades. It’s nicer than PF butter bronzer.

Em - I NEED you to review the Morphe Fluidity Full Coverage Concealor. I got it in my Ipsy today, and first impression was KILLER! I have so many lines and discoloration and concealers just tend to look like trash on me. This one is a dream! Such great coverage, very minimal creasing, and stays put!!!

I’m 56 years old, and I’ve taken very good care of my skin, but I’m starting to get crepey wrinkles around my eyes. I just can’t wear sparkles and glitter anymore, but a soft pearlescent finish still looks nice. I have so much makeup it’s not even funny, but that palette will go on my wishlist. Hopefully I can pick it up on deep discount, just need a little patience 🙂

I like the Maybelline Molten Peach highlight too! I tried to talk myself out of the shadow palette, but I caved and got it. I’ve seen a lot of neutral palettes lately that, while they might be really good, they don’t call out to me and I don’t feel compelled to get them. But I had to have the Maybelline one.

I really love this foundation! They never had a shade for me light enough in the pro glow and for this one it looks so nice and no bad scent.

Omg we totally binged through Cheer on Netflix! I was a dance girl and cheered but not to that level! But it is similar in time and intensity. I was frustrated with the company and the footage not being Netflix at the end. But I was sucked in to the stories of the kids, I immediately wanted your reaction when I was watching it!

Maybelline has the City Bronzers. Depending on your skin tone and preference they are REALLY good in my opinion.
I tried that mascara but found it to be so dry... my lashes felt brittle by mid day. But I will say it was good for lift. My lashes are also bone straight and point straight down ☹️
