Random Thought:
I can be easily influenced when it comes to food. Someone on Facebook tried air-frying a ham & cheese sandwich? I think I'll try it, too.
Staying power update- like I said, it wasn't a great testing day for new products, as I was out in the rain about 5 times dropping off/picking up kids. I was kind of surprised to see my skin looking dry in certain areas at day's end... then I remembered past experiences with Conceal & Perfect concealer, and realized my dryness was in areas where that was applied. The following day I paired this new Milani primer and foundation with Revlon Colorstay Flex Wear Concealer, and felt like the product stayed looking more even and fresh. Just wanted to share! Still testing these things out.
I love getting these wear updates! Thank you❤
Milani is currently having 25% off sitewide sale.
That primer looks like the texture of the Il Makiage primer that’s $35!
Milani is insane with their prices but I will say that the best place to buy their products is on the milani website itself. They are always running sales! And right now they are doing 25% off everything so the price is significantly decreased. Love the look Em! If you like that lip then I feel like you would love the shade Hazel. It’s a bit deeper as an everyday shade.
Thanks for the tip.
Happy Saturday!! I agree with the prices! Some drug store prices these days have me like 😳 where my $1 elf products 😂😂
Seriously! When you remember the $1 elf days... it's harder to take these prices! :D
It’s hard to believe those days were like 15 years ago!
Emily the affordable, drugstore content is so greatly appreciated now in these trying times 💓🙏 - Even if it is the more expensive drugstore. It's still drastically more affordable than high-end, at least up here in Canada. We so appreciate what you do, and all LOVE you so much ❤🥰 -Far and away my favorite beauty creator for many reasons 💕
Exactly even though drugstore prices are going up so are prices in Sephora and luxury brands not to mention so many higher end brands are also giving less product. Drugstore is just better value regardless.
@rakikarafi yup this so much. SEPHORA products are super expensive in Canada, like in the low $30's minimum for lip products, high $30's or more for blush, $50 plus for foundation, over $20 for minis, the list could go on....
Same feelings here. And the low cost makeup she shows us, is how I get all my recommendations. Also my very favorite content creator
I’ve always enjoyed your content. The vibe feels like best friends hanging out chatting about makeup and life. ❤
If Milani products are made in Italy and South Korea, that may account for why they are more expensive than ELF or Wet n Wild, which are primarily made in China, I believe. Workers are most likely paid more in Italy and South Korea.
Yes, we need a top 10 from Milani!!! 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
I'm a fan of the Essence cosmetics 🥰 Some of the cosmetics have increased slightly, not that much that I'm surprised . I don't shop at Sephora I think the prices there are outrageous - so many gems that are affordable at the drugstore. Thank you Emily for sharing 😊 Stay warm and cozy everyone 🫖
Love the idea of a half face wear test for these new foundation sticks.
I am so happy to see you today! I’ve had a rough few days. After beating stage 4 ovarian cancer 2 years ago. I got news that the cancer has now spread to my brain. Very soul crushing as a mom with a precious 8 year old and a 15 year old. I am finding my inner warrior spirit to prepare myself for this fight again. You will be making the chemotherapy trips with me!
Praying🙏🏻💜
🤗💞
I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you hugs
Can I be mad that we didn’t see the blush application? It is always one of the most satisfying parts of your videos 🤣
Happy birthday, Mom!
I used coupons at CVS and got the Milani stick foundation for $7, worth every penny, I will repurchase it. ❤
Sometimes I think we’re unfair in our judgement of drugstore makeup prices. Everything else has increased in price-think gas, groceries, etc. I’m sure the cost of materials and labor have gone up as well. High end makeup prices have also gone up. Even the dollar stores are now $1.25. It seems reasonable that drugstore makeup prices would increase too. I’m not saying I want to pay more for drugstore makeup-just that drugstore makeup is so much better than it used to be and it’s still a lot less expensive than high end.
Happy birthday to your beautiful mom!
Emily milani is a small step up and most of there products are worth every penny.... 12 dollars aint so bad
I think Milani is high-end quality, especially blushes (which are still around $8). They do frequently have sales, right now it’s 25% off on their site. I like that the products are not made in China. I was shocked to see the new e.l.f. Halo Glower Powder Filter is $14!
Milani has always been a bit higher priced than drugstore. The new primer looks interesting. I've enjoyed learning about these new products and getting the reviews Emily. Thank you so much for a fun and wonderful video and we love you too always.😍❤💗❣💐
Happy Belated Birthday to your beautiful and precious Mother!!! Hope she had a wonderful day! 🥳
P.S. I would love to see a new video with your mom and you discussing her all time beauty favorites and/or what’s in her beauty bag.
I really like the foundation stick and the primer on my 58 year old combo skin. You’re my favorite beauty guru. Keep up the great content.
thanks for sharing!!
YES! Been wanting someone to compare the Milani to Fenty-which is my fav too. Excited to hear your thoughts. As for the price, it’s the reason I haven’t picked it up to compare them myself. Something about that price in drugstore doesn’t feel as easy and approachable.
I really appreciate your attention to price and quality cause mama is on a budget!
Going thru some tough grief rn and you’re just such a safe place ❤❤❤ thank you for being here!
Similar circumstance. Sending you prayers.
🙏🏽🕊️🙏🏽
@@MD-bl6gysend love back at you ❤
Milani products are made in Italy 🇮🇹 and sold in the drugstore which is awesome 👌🏾 🥳🥳
Antigravity is my ABSOLUTE favorite mascara!!!!!
I really like the primer. I have been using for a while, and I feel like my skin looks so much smoother all day.
I am happy to pay 15 dollars at the drugstore for some of the higher quality items, but that's why I watch your channel!
Emily! I just went to one of our nicer Walmarts and they had added a lot of makeup to the mark down section. The mark down prices were still $11.00 for most things!
I noticed this at Walmart too! I thought ‘for $8/$9, I could use my extra bucks over at CVS and do better on cost!
I recently tried the Ulta brand foundation stick and I really like it. I have VERY dry skin and it keeps me hydrated all day with a medium coverage.
Oh! I needed know Ulta had a foundation stick ,tell me more if you can. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Emily did a video on that Ulta foundation stick a few weeks ago. She really liked it and it wore well for her.
My shade was out of stock, but I just got an e-mail a few days ago from Ulta that it's back in stock. I'm waiting for it to be delivered.😊
@cm_mb Thank you for letting me know. It was greatly appreciated.👍
@@gailschaefer-guajardo6731 you're welcome!
IMO The Milani primer and foundation stick looks super good here , your complexion looked lovely.
thanks!
@@emilynoel83 the whole look was gorgeous 🥰
EM!! I have a challenge for you we haven’t seen in a while…. (I don’t think…)
Can you do a no-makeup-makeup look?
And I have been dying form you to do a look with Kelly green eyeshadow!!!
Good morning from Chicago! ☕️☀️ Yes, we had rain & hail pretty much most of the day. Appreciate that you are willing to purchase & test makeup products then review the wearability. Definitely have taken your suggestions - Milani eye primer is now my go to product.
Milani is not usually my bff at the drugstore, but I really enjoy the primer. It is my go-to for prepping my larger pore areas. Thank you for your content.
The Fenty foundation stick is my Holy Grail foundation. But I also like the Maybelline stick. The 3 Walmarts near me had them on Clearance for 5 dollars. I was able to get 2 in my shade. But now they are totally gone. I will have to try this new Milani one.
Happy belated birthday to your mom!! Milani was always a tad bit more expensive at the drugstore but now the prices are definitely up there to the luxury brands 😢
Yes! I’ve been wanting to try the skin tint. So happy to see you try it out first lol.
yeah! happy to test it!
Yes, I completely agree about the conceal and perfect concealer. Super dry kinda patchy. But I’ve given myself a strict “use it up” policy. So I’m gonna keep on using it until it’s empty and get something else!
The prices of cherished brands at the drugstore definitely are frustrating.
But I am glad a good number of products are just as good as high-end and luxury items.
I used to watch you wayyy back in the day and have been subscribed for ever! This is the 1st video of u I see in a while!
I totally agree! Something has to be mind-blowing at the drug store for me to pay that much. These Milani products have a lot of hype so maybe they are. Wet n wild and Dollar Tree makeup has me spoiled 😅
Same!! The fact that certain drugstore brands are still getting it done (well) at half these prices... makes you think!
@emilynoel83 Exactly! Those new Milani products are nearing high-end at those price points. Emily you're the best because you compare them all to each other and help us know where to spend our dollars
I know you like those Elf 10 pan eyeshadow palettes, especially the all matte one. Have you tried the one called keep it ethereal? I’d love to see you do an eye look with that one 😊
I hope to try that one soon!
@@emilynoel83 Yay🤗
I would also like a side-by-side on the face for the Maybelline and the Milani
Hi Emily! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY’S MOMMA! And many more happy wishes.
Hey Emily, I thought the stick foundation looked great on you. I couldn't even tell you had makeup on; I'm sure the perfect color match didn't hurt too. I was a bit taken back at the prices but they did seem like good products and the packaging was a step up. I would like to see a side by side between this and the Maybelline stick; I'm guessing the Maybelline is cheaper. The sad fact is everything is expensive and if something has to go to make your budget then new makeup is near the top of the list. God bless you and yours.
The Milani primer seems to be getting good reviews. I love the Hard Candy ones you’ve recommended, so I’d be curious how you’d compare the two! It looks like formula is different so maybe it’s not a good comparison. Thanks do another fun video!
Well usually ill be up and drinking my coffee while watching you, but today's a lazy, rainy, still- under- my- covers kinda Saturday with Em, and its equally perfect!❤️
And happy belated birthday wishes to one glamourous mama!
thanks for including me in your morning!
Wouldn't have it any other way with any other youtuber 😁
Same here 😊
That Milani primer looks exactly like the primer that Skinn Cosmetics used to have in his line on the home shopping network several (at least 6) years ago. I think he (Dimitri) still has shows on there. His skin care products are very good, I used them for a long time.
Happy Birthday to Mrs. NOEL!!
I assumed Noel was Emily's middle name, giving a nod to her being born in the Christmas season
Happy birthday to your mom!
Thank you for trying these products and reporting to us ❤
Been looking for the Milano stick but it’s not in any stores near me 😢
@emilynoel83 could you do a full face of LA colors? Since they are easily available at different discount stores
Noticed how expensive Milani was yesterday at Wal-Mart . I passed it up. TFS ❤
I totally know what you mean but I love Milani. I typically just order from their website when it’s 30% off and they do fast shipping.
I bought the primer and haven't tried it yet. Thanks, Emily!
hi Em! i agree with you about the skyrocketing drugstore prices, in High School i bought $1 ELF makeup and felt ok with it!
ELF at $1 is long gone but they had very limited products. Now the line has really expanded into some great products that compare to high end & still decent prices
Happy belated birthday to your beautiful mom!! ❤🥳🎂💐
Hi Em . I hope you and your family are doing well! I just wanted to tell you that Pixie has a new foundation stick as well. It’s in the packaging like their blush and stick bronzer. It’s the same price. Looks like it may be nice. Pixie is a brand you don’t see anyone test much anymore. I think Risa did. Just letting you know 😊 have a blessed day!❤
Good morning! I love this new Milani primer. I agree about drugstore prices. There are a lot of really exciting products coming out at the drugstore, but the prices aren't great.
I’ve been using the Milani primer for a few weeks now and I love it! Just don’t get it on irritated skin because it has a cooling effect that definitely translates to an intense burn on delicate skin. Thanks for reviewing these products. Tomorrow is restock day!
That primer reminds me of the OG Loreal Magic Perfecting Base ...I miss that
oh yeah!
Good to know as that L’Oréal Magic Perfecting Base was THE best!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Emily Noel’s Mom! ❤ I pray that you enjoy your day!
I went to the Milani website after a sale alert in my email this morning. I was SHOCKED at how high they have jacked up the prices. I refuse to pay those prices for drugstore makeup. There are so many choices in other brands like Wet 'n Wild or ELF. Frugal me must can't do it anymore, though I do like Milani products. ~Cynthia
When that eye shadow palette got held up I was glad I didn’t like it, then Emily’s eyes popped up and I was like OMG I need that eyeshadow now too lol. They might as well hire her sell all makeup!
Yay!! Always a ray of sunshine when you post videos Em ☀️
thank you!!
I have and use the Maybelline stick- love it for a quick, easy application.
I agree Those prices are high!
I look forward to the split face comparison with the fit stick goundation
Eyeshadow is beautiful
My birthday is the same as your mom’s! Please tell her happy belated birthday! The primer looks intriguing….. and that BLUSH!!!!!
I think Maybelline is discontinuing the fit me sticks. I got a few on clearance at Walmart and I don’t see them anywhere else
Happy Birthday to your mom I am actually getting ready for my moms birthday dinner right now watching this hers was on the 27th! Tfs.
I bought the Plumping Balm in shade Moi and it has no color. I may as well just be wearing colorless Chapstick. This is the second time I've bought a lip product used by Emily in a video which ended up having no color.
Great day Em! Happy Saturday! Lord bless you & yours!
Glad you're here!
I love your Saturday morning videos! I have been hearing good things about the Milani primer so I wanted to try it lol
I love the Milano stick. But I’ve be using it lightly under my foundation. Patti really liked the stick is why I tried it. She loves you btw! After watching you I need to try the new primer. Thanks for your video!
Thank you for sharing the wear time that's what I was hoping you would do I am considering trying it I don't like full coverage but I don't like super light coverage so I'm looking for that in between. I do like the wet and wild Tinted Moisturizer that seems to be a favorite of mine so anyways great video and happy late birthday to Mom. God bless you and your family
Happy birthday “MOM” another Aquarius here! 🎉🎉 (my birthday was on the 20th ) hope you have a wonderful day! ❤❤ here’s to many more 😊❤🎉
Milani has a gilded shadow stick in Canyon. I think it is a very pretty color for “lazy liner.”
We are now able to buy Milani quite easily in Australia. My oh my! What a discovery for me. The bronzer is my new HG, the matte lipsticks and blushes are so superb. I loved this video and can try more goodies this week. X
Good morning Em! Your videos are the perfect way to start a Saturday!😺 🙏
aw thanks!!
This doesn't have anything to do with this video BUT you got me hooked on Revlon lipliner and wondered if you run out of it as fast as I do? Did they start putting less in it? I can go through a tube of it in a week. It is the best, drugstore or high end but come on!
I have the Milani primer but haven't tried it yet! I need to. Happy birthday to your mom.
Milani in Australia costs $20 and over. Glided mini pallete is $30 😮 I'm simply going to shop my stash, as alot of makeup is expensive to buy here as well.
Thanks for sharing the new products you purchased. I read your update. I will wait until you test the product more and give it the Emily Seal of Approval.❤
Thank you so very much Emily, I absolutely Love, and enjoy you, and your videos. ♥️🥰♥️
I’ve seen people on TikTok using this with charlotte Tilbury skin tint stick.
I really like the new glossy plumping balm. Want to try more colors.
My granddaughter was born January 30th. I am over the moon.
Early morning therapy with Em. Thank you for being so consistent and sharing all your knowledge. You make many people's day better with every video you post. Thank you ❤
The WnW foundation stick is my go to travel item since it isn't a liquid.
Wish we could get the Blur Out primer readily here in the UK. So far the only place I can find it is on the Milani website. It’s not available on Amazon or at Boots or Superdrug.
I really wish we had Ulta here!
Wet n wild has a stick foundation and I really like that one -have you tried that one -blessings
Emily, I snagged from HSN-3 Tarte Tubing mascara +1 eye brightener liner no shipping fee. Plus tax 42.&change. Was a great deal.
The brow balm is my absolute favorite brow product... EVER. Nyx stick'em stick'em is too aptly named. They wish it was this. Thank you, Milani. I don't mind a little more money for innovative step-up style products. Also recommended Maybelline poreless Jelly primer. It's really hydrating and nice with that Milani primer on the nose/t-zone for an easy 1-2 that wears well and does nice things on your skin. I love January Drugstore mania!! Thank you for your knowledge!! Our makeup librarian extraordinaire! 💕😘
thanks for sharing!! Yeah it's really been an unintentional drugstore-fest on my channel lately! :D
@@emilynoel83 My favorite kind!
Happy Saturday, Emily and other Beauties! I hope your mom had a wonderful birthday!! I am intrigued by the Milani Conceal + Perfect primer. I may purchase that one, depending on how your wear tests go, Emily.
Thinking of your video with the new Revlon Glass Shine lip balm, I think you would like the shade Glazed Mauve.
Happy birthday to your mama ❤
Hi! I was wondering if you could possibly try the Ulta stick foundation? I've heard mixed things but trust your opinion. ❤ Thank you for your time!!! Love every video.
I actually really like the primer and the foundation stick, I thought it looked pretty and nice wear time. You look beautiful. Happy belated birthday to your mom! xoxo
It might work better on a hot steamy summer day.
That Stick Skin Tint in my neck of the Canadian Woods , is over 20 bucks and the other products are right around the 20 dollar mark. Drugstore Makeup is expensive NYX wants 59 Dollars for Eyeshadow, that is definitely High End prices. Elf Products sit right at 20 and UP ! For the majority of products, it’s crazy over here for anything that can be lumped into the Beauty category. It’s actually more affordable and better quality to just order from ColorPop , even after the dollar difference and shipping over 50 dollars is only 5 bucks. So when I need or want more than 2 things I will wait and save a bit of money and just make a CP order , other than my preferences for Foundation I personally think CP has it covered in every single category and their Pretty Fresh Concealer is one of my absolute favourite Concealers.
