+noooooooooooooooooo I see what's going on here, there are humanizing cops, and trying to get rid of the stigma. If more, and more districts did this, then it could have an impact of positive outlook at cops, but a few videos from only a few districts can only do so little to achieve this goal, it's going to take at least the best districts in every state.

This is amazing. I had some tears. I'm just passionate about kids and love when people help guide them in a positive direction. When I graduate I plan on being a youth service center coordinator. I love all the kids!

This is the side of the streets that very few people will give credit to, or belittle because of "noise" and "muh yard". Let these boys play and dream, then let them build on those dreams so that they can become possibilities, then ultimately realities.

This is amazingly beautiful because our children need good role models and to be sorrounded by encouraging people, to feel loved and helped by their communities and not tore down and held back. I hope you do this more often and remember that our children are the future that one day will be in positions to spread the love that's been given to them. Back in 1963 when I was 6 yrs old I moved into this new neighborhood in Puerto Rico. One of the things that has remained in my mind all these years is meeting officer Silva.
There was an organization or program called Police Athletic League designed to help get kids involved in sports from an early age through the police department and officer Silva was the one to come to my neighborhood every Sunday morning to pick up the kids and take them into town so they could play with kids from other neighborhoods also under the guidance of the police department.
They thing I remember the most was the way those kids greeted that sweet tall white haired officer who acted more like the grandpa you wished you could spend time with every day of your life.
As soon as he got off his vehicle kids would surround him to hug him and he would just laugh and take it all in.
When I think of police officers that's the one thing I wished I could see more of these days.
Thank you very much officers.

I saw this on the news actually abc news I believe. It's these acts of leadership, love, and kindness that even in the midst of all the killing and war and sadness, can spark a smile and ignite an explosion of laughter and give our lives hope. Even though your story was so brief on tv before it went back to the sadness, that brief moment was enough to give me so much happiness and thoughts of a future where people will not be afraid of their neighbors and will not let their surroundings define who they are and will not dictate who they will become.
