Hats off to the guy who created all these training videos. Instead of merely explaining things on PPT, he goes ahead and does everything practically. First time I am seeing any tutor taking the pain of creating this "scope of services" slide which is very helpful. I would want to know if you offer any boot-camp etc to get complete training for AWS certifications. Thanks a lot once again.
Thanks a lot Akshay. That means a lot. I hope it helps all of you understand things in a proper manner. Requesting to SHARE with your friends more and more.. I am also doing live sessions every week. One such session happened today. It's available on the channel now. There is another session tomorrow; please check calendar here -- aws-tutorials.blogspot.com/

Please tell me how can i choose a perticular AZ while creating an instance ? Suppose i want two instances one in us-east-1d and other inus-east-1b, how can i do it, as there is no option to choose AZ during launch of an instance.
can we share S3 services of one AWS account with many other completely different AWS accounts with read nd write policies - something shared S3? Thanks
sir ji , How come cloud front is categorised under global service. The cloud front source is where ever it is !! and the edge locations /distributions gets created where ever the user requests comes from , right ? so it shd be more of a REGION /AZ service than a global service , kindly clarify .
When you create a CloudFront distribution you don't restrict (or choose) a particular location. Same CF can serve a user coming from Sydney, Tokyo, New Jersey or Canada (with the help of an Edge Location nearby respectively). Hence, its a Global service.
Region is a geographical location where AWS has datacenters. Global services are those which have scope across all regions - e.g. Route 53, CloudFront.
Please refer documentation. Also, i have a detailed video on CloudFront you may watch that more understanding. Thanks again. Please share this video with your friends on Social platforms to help us bring more AWS videos.

5:01 Elastic File System replicates across AZs for a region. Then the scope shoul be regional ... correct ?
I agree, it could be placed in Regional. the only thing is it is in our hands that we can restrict it to one AZ also.
Yes. BTW, nice video ... helping we a lot for my AWS SA prep :) ... Thanks again !

what is the purpose of having more than one az in the same region? if a region gets affected it is more likely than all the az will get affected

Great info.. what is the difference between region and global services ?
Region is a geographical location where AWS has datacenters.
Global services are those which have scope across all regions - e.g. Route 53, CloudFront.
Here we were not covered Edge locations Sir ?
thank you so much
Thanks. Please look at our playlists to learn more. Kindly share the videos and spread the word if you find them helpful..
i still have a doubt on edge location that you described in the video. could anyone simplify one more time please?
thank you.
You can watch cloudfront videos on our channel
Sure sir.
S3 service is Global but you mentioned under Regional..
S3 uses only GLOBAL namespace. The scope of an S3 bucket is a region only.
You didn't explain what is edge location ..?? You said 16 and it is increasing ..but didn't explain what is edge location ?? I have confusion..
Please refer documentation. Also, i have a detailed video on CloudFront you may watch that more understanding.
Thanks again. Please share this video with your friends on Social platforms to help us bring more AWS videos.
S3 bucket is global I guess?
Please try to create one and check
there are 57 availability zones and 19 regions... 66 now
yes it keeps increasing :)
Everything is good but little bit voice is not clarity
I agree. In recent videos, you will find the voice better. Check out our channel
