The best is, this is the beta version, and the final version will have a couple of goodies more :) Thank you for your support. Of course, sharing these videos will help spreading the word about Gig Performer.
Incredible! & tnx for turning me into Decent Sampler, only heard of it now (I have full Kontakt so never needed anything else). But being also iOS it can be very useful! (& maybe GP can do iOS someday as well! 😊)
Question! I followed along with this in order to import a patch from my trusty Kronos. It worked great except that when I open up the Decent Sampler plug-in and browse to my output folder, I don't see the .dspreset file as seen at 3:45 in the video; instead I see a bunch of individual .wav files, one for each note and velocity level I had it sample. Now, this is surely due at least in part to the fact that like a dummy, I didn't install Decent Sampler until after I had run the auto-sample generator. Is that all I need to do though? If I run it again now that I have DS installed, will it create the preset file for me? Or do I need to take any other steps to make that happen? Alternately, is there away in DS for me to manually create the preset out of the wav files? Thank you. I have posted this question in the GP community forum also.
Well, as noted by the other comments here, the process has changed. Please see the user guide which has the correct information. Also, we responded on the community forum
Thank you for these videos, very helpful in setting things up here. However I do have a question. I've been auto sampling my Moog Sub 37 , a bass sound to be specific, but its not replicating the quick release time. It seems no matter how short I make the release tail I get the same result. It's supposed to be a quick release but it's sluggish. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you again.

It doesn't --- that's an art in itself --- depending on the sound you need, either make the sample times long enough to suit or use your sampler tools to do looping
This doesn't apply to guitar effect plugins. It seems to me that you want to capture the tone of your guitar plugin. For this purpose you have to use the NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) or a similar solution. Note that there are already many captures and amps available for NAM, please check its page.
@@nemanjapudar201Wow, this would be very cool, thank you! I am also interested in capturing the slides, gliss, harmonics, hammer on/off etc. I have already sampled the out_of_this_world 'Ample Half-Hollow Guitar' with GP and then converted it to 16bit and moved it to my Ketron EVENT. It sounds OK, but as you say, it not only lacks the tone, but I can't fathom how I would sample the guitar's articulations using GP's auto_sampler or any auto_sampler for that matter?
Since Deskew never puts Gig Performer on sale, Plugin Alliance customers will be able crossgrade to the Deskew version by paying the difference between what they actually paid PA for the unlocked version of Gig Performer 4 (excluding discounts and vouchers) and will then be entitled to this new update just like any other user who bought Gig Performer from Deskew at its regular price.
It's like Samplerobot but integrated in GigPerformer and using the strength of the system of our full VST architecture. Gorgeous! Thanks folks!
That is really impressive and so useful. Looking forward to the update!
This is incredible!
This is so awesome! What a great feature to have built in it already the best music software out there.

This is a great addition.
Great feature!

Awesome.
🎉FAVORITE FEATURE!! Thanks
That's genius
Note that the process has changed slightly for creating samples for Decent Sampler - please refer to the documentation for details
Wow!! I will try this soon!

How to play the samples extracted with Auto sampler generator ? in GP4.7, I don't find any samples player for that.
Nice future! I created samples, but didn't find preset to the samples.. What is wrong?
Please check the user manual.
How does it handle the loop points?
It doesn't --- that's an art in itself --- depending on the sound you need, either make the sample times long enough to suit or use your sampler tools to do looping
ETA??
How? do you sample 'Ample Half-Hollow Guitar'

@@philphil4295 The best will be to create a new thread in the GP forum so your question can see a large number of power users.
@@nemanjapudar201 I did just that - just now. BTW, what a great forum to get feedback from GP users to help solve problems. :)
