On the one hand, I do appreciate the carpets. But on the other, I think they look quite dated, reminiscent of an 80s Vegas casino. And I'm not sure how a decision was made on the new Terminal 2 carpets but the beige really shows off all the dirt, grime and litter. Very sad.

I am sorry to say, T2 carpet tho its the latest (i guess renovated and opened late 2023?), it gave me the feeling that it has been there for years.. looks not nature but dusty, have not been well maintained, colour worn out feeling.
T4 however, it has this vibrant, bright, calm environment feel.
    Just my personal thots..

In cold countries, carpeting the floor enables people to walk on something warm, especially when they get out of bed. In the tropics, why do we need carpeting? Baggage also doesn’t roll well on carpeting. It reminds me of golfing. In temperate weather, it is very pleasant to walk about in the sun and hit a ball around. But adopting this game in the hot tropics under the searing sun seems crazy to me. We mustn’t follow blindly.

Sorry, but the carpet resembles an unrenovated home from the 70s or 80s. The worst part is how difficult it is to roll your luggage on
