I love D.L., and his wife seems genuinely 'extremely' ever-forgiving, but obviously he's used that knowing that she would never leave...I'm sorry, I'm forgiving, but I'm not naive or blind...everyone should have limits to protect their own heart.

DL always praises his wife for sticking by his side while he did”his thing”. I’ve seen this in several interviews with them. It seems like he kept cheating in the past simply because he could.

I don’t think she looks that old because he’s 59 and she’s 60 now. So I think she doesn’t look too bad even though this was made 2 or 3 years ago. But she still was in her late 50s. I think sometimes we forget their age and assume they should always look young when it doesn’t always happen that way. I could be wrong though. 💯

@@lwazzzyoutuber The point is if this show is about highlighting and displaying black love that is supposed to be inspiring and aspirational to others, I think there should be a clear standard such that not any and every black couple no matter how dysfunctional could be featured. DL has been a perpetual cheater and has cheated on his wife countless times. One of those instances of infidelity led to a baby being murdered. There is nothing aspirational about this couple at all and it's disturbing that they're being featured on here. As I wrote, there was another couple who also has infidelity issues that led to someone being murdered. These are not the stories that should be featured in this series!
@@876me7 WHAT?!?! Oh my! I did not know that. That's incredibly sad. I agree they should do some more research into the couples and highlight ASPIRATIONAL couples. I understand wanting to showcase "relatable" black stories/love and I do appreciate the intent of the whole series but they have to understand the weight of the platform and be more careful in their selection process.
