It was perceived as unity. Even in the Civil Rights and Black Panther movement, black men silenced the women of those movements after the women laid the foundation. Essentially the hatred for black women happening now has always been here, we just refused to see it.
Some of these men just discovered that classism is real. "You won't consider me because I'm a good guy?" "No. Just like some of yall won't consider ugly women who are loving." It is what it is.

I remember a sister who was a lawyer, speaking her 20 year successful marriage to a trash hauler.

Her family and friends love him, and that's secondary to their own love, but she appreciates. I've made alot of money in my life, but never played the "materialism for p****" game with women. That marriage worked for her because she didn't mind being the breadwinner. She possibly was the dominant one in the relationship. Dominate woman who don't mind being breadwinners are more compatible with men who are less ambitious. Some women want a man who is ambitious like them and have a good paying career like them. Compatibility is key.
High quality people attract high quality people, point blank period. If you are having trouble attracting people who you deem “on your level” you not as high as you think.

Some peoples view of high quality can come down to very superficial things and I think that’s what causes such a disconnect when they find people they think fit that mold.
@@TyWerks you’re right, and those have to be relationships you learn from. But people looking for the wrong things can lead to that being a repeated cycle. It’s kinda unfortunate but the reality is some men and women just aren’t ready for committed relationships. I can’t say you have to lower your standards but really breakdown what you are looking for in a partner. It can take a lot of tough conversations to even get to really understand someone but that’s how the best relationships are made, wether it’s a lover or a friend.

As a man I honestly feel like this episode was a joke 😂. Pierre can't be involved in the conversation if he is going to shy away from the conversation, this was one sided nonsense lol. And then have a nerve to talk about generational wealth. She straight up dissed the profession and the people in it, and she's living proof that it can work out and create a successful child. However, if you don't teach a child that money isn't everything, clearly it spoils them and makes them insufferable to the point of not having a mate or children.

That's why they continue to blame every other factor for their situation except for taking accountability. Both black men and black women both have caused pain to each other. Both sides need to take accountability for how we all have treated each other and change it! All of us need to do and be better. The black community as a whole needs counseling because i dont see us getting out of this cycle until we all go to counseling in droves to get the tools we need to not tear each other down and help build us up.

I view myself as a leader in my home and my community. I am extremely proud of that as a black man. When all people view me, I want them to view me as a person who has great solutions.
