Tesla is not just a EV, they have energy, robotics and FSD. And don't bet against a man that could make a reusable rocket that no one could.

He’s a value guy anyone with that thesis would get wrecked in this economic environment. I’ve never listened to him for investment advice, hes a good resource for clarity on macroeconomic issues. It’s important to know why you’re listening to people. Kevin has a different perspective I use both

Peter is extremely principled. Respect for that. But if you just blindly listen to him, it's easy to miss out on a lot of opportunity.
I like Peter, but you’re right. Bought a lot of beaten down stocks last fall and sold them in January. Had I listened to him I wouldn’t have done that.
Thts why i just buy #Tsla aside from #Bitcoin nd some gold nd real estate. Every other stock is a risk imo. #Tsla is the only for sure stock that has a lot more upside than downside imo
Big government, currency debasement, default, leading to the introduction of a new monetary system. Peter is trying to tell you that we’ve seen this movie over and over again. It’s nothing new. Kevin, on the other hand, has never traded through an extended recession, and as a result, structures his investment thesis around the “this time is different” concept. Anyone who owns American stocks (especially those selling discretionary goods/services) is placing a much riskier bet than they believe to be making.
You shouldn’t blindly listen to anyone.
it’s all fine and good considering that you know what the big gorilla in the room the FED is going to be laying out the ground rules for the future. Well… you can only look at what they have done the last 40 years. Everyone believes and makes decision what they have done the last 40 years will continue. The markets are going to be changing the FEDs calculus which everyone relies upon. They resisted that for decades now. Now they have so many currents they are dealing with. … only now after 2008 financial crisis. We have the 16th largest bank failing. That’s just a bunt single to start off with.

The Thermal undershirts I have bought for years used to be made from 100% cotton. Now they are made with cheaper polyester. This change in quality was not captured in the CPI weightings.
My thermal shirts lost their quality but increased in price, but because of the change in quality, the price change is not fully reflected in the CPI index. This is dishonest and does not measure the true effect of purchasing power loss.

Peter's assessment of CPI & Cathie Wood is spot on. His proposal to slash Social Security and Medicare to attack govt. spending, when there is a million other wasteful corporate subsidies/empty fed buildings/govt. advertising/exorbitant military spending, etc., is f'n INSANE (so he's right, I would never get on board for that)! Still, I've always enjoyed hearing Schiff's perspective and even listen to his podcast from time-to-time, so I enjoyed this interview. Thank you!

He is making more and more content on the go. Poor audio quality must be fixed as soon as possible to keep the production value in the same level as the studio content. Maybe not important to you, but it is VERY important for retention and perceived quality on TH-cam! Audio is actually more important than video quality in most cases.

Not every buisness is trying to lower their prices to increase their volume. They are trying to maximize profit they want their production cost to go down to increase profit based on sales. Nobody wants more work for less money.
Peter worth $70 million. 30+ years market experience. Mutual Fund company. Gold company, etc. Pays no taxes in Puerto Rico. No private jet.
Kevin worth $20 million. 5 years market experiment. ETF named after genitals. Real Estate company. Lives in California paying the highest possible taxes in the US. Has a private jet.
Something doesn’t make sense here.
The elimination of price controls was one of the many puzzle pieces that drove inflation. OPEC. Off the gold standard. Increased spending on social programs. Increased military spending. A lot of factors all at the same time.
20% to 25% of the US Dollars are outside the USA in a non US Bank - once Digital currency all those US Dollars will become ZERO $$$

Thank you Kevin for exposing your followers to Peter Schiff. Peter Schiff and his school of thought comes from the Mises Institute and the Austrian School of Economics which teaches the purest form of free market economics and how government interventions negatively impact the economy. I've read a ton of books by men associated with the Mises Institute like Ron Paul, Robert Murphy, Tom Woods, Irwin Schiff (Peters father), Henry Hazlitt, Murray Rothbard, and Ludwig Von Mises, etc so its awesome to see these great men exposed to the 30 and 20 year old crowds.
Ah yes, Peter Schiff. Saw him first in 2012 on Alex Jones show where he argued for buying gold while the other guy on the same show argued for buying bitcoin (which seemed complicated). As i'm not a millionaire you can only guess what my decision was. Not a great fan of his or Cathy but talking to everyone and listening different opinions is the key.
They were both right 😂. My take, gold is the enemy of the dollar, btc is an alternative to the dollar. Gold wins in the long run. Btc already showed us it is not a safe haven asset.
