Hi TJ. Thanks for such an amazingly educational playlist. I learned a lot. :) I am struggling with one small issue, and was hoping if you could help me out. I got a Veikk A50 tablet to draw, it works fine with all the other programs but lags on opentoonz. The pen works fine, but the hotkeys lag a lot. Any idea why that's happening. Truly appreciate your help. Thanks!
Good question. I did some reading in the docs, and the permission appears to be used for network storage and farm rendering options. Keep in mind OpenToonz used to be Toonz, which was designed to be used in a team / multi computer network environment.
it probably means to overwrite previous setting of the same software in case it was downloaded...still i would recommend reading it edit- i read it and it also says that it won't change user's setting...don't worry opentoonz is a popular software in the industry

I sometimes run into this situation, it could be possible that you've downloaded a malicious file from a non-official site, but if you're fairly certain you've downloaded the correct file from the official site, that Microsoft dialogue has an expansion at the bottom of it that will let you run the software anyway. That's what I do in those situations.

This is so annoying, it looks like this is a great instruction video but ofcourse the version I now have (1.7.1) has all the tabs, except for ''basics''.

maybe it's your memory, try deleting some things you don't need.
if that doesn't work, then it's not your memory.
Can i ask what are your system specs?? I downloaded and installed it, all that happened was the loading screen came up... never saw the ui

What does it mean when they say overwrite all setting files in the stuff folder seems kinda sketchy ( its the check box under the installation )
