Thanks for sharing! We will be down in March and staying right next door to Marbella. I think we will save that one for a special dinner night. El Pesquero will be our first go to when we arrive as it's so close.

@@TheFourChains we will be staying 2 weeks port side and the 1 week in Veredas Del Puerto... no car. Hubby cooks for a living so lots of home meals too.
You could walk over to Timon Ave from Veredas and take the collectivo to some of the restaurants in our last video.

Nothing wrong with splurging from time to time.
I'm also surprised that they are giving you 19 pesos per dollar exchange rate should you want to pay in dollars, they always give me 17 so I always pay in pesos to get the most.
I agree, always pay in Pesos if possible. Exchange rate was over 20 at the time, fyi.

What does the water look like? Is the sargassum still horrible? Is there enough space to swim without the seaweed?

Never mind. I now see it was for four margaritas. That's a bit more reasonable.
Correct. The exchange rate when we were there was about 20 to 1 so the margs were about $9 each. However, across the street at El Pesquero the margaritas were about $5.50 and also delicious. Where is your go to for Margaritas in Puerto Morelos? Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@TheFourChains We have a timeshare at El Cid, just south of Puerto Morelos. All inclusive, so I can drink all of the Margaritas and Pina Coladas I like. My husband is more of a beer drinker. We'll be there next month for three weeks. Can't wait! Thanks for responding - New subscriber.

@@Lizz7711 we are the opposite…have spent time in Puerto Morelos but not PV. The Pacific side and Caribbean are very different in terms of temperature, culture, and water from what we’ve heard. What are your favorite things about Puerto Vallarta?
@@TheFourChains Love it all in PV, except the relentless heat which I know will be similar in PM. Beautiful mountains/ocean and numerous beaches (no sargasum but also no coral reef). Loved the friendly people and incredible restaurants (many gluten free options which I need). But it's touristy so a bit more expensive from what I understand and I think I'll like the smaller size of PM. Also can't wait to explore cenotes :) Sidewalks in PV are horrendous unless in centro, and I'm hoping they are a bit better in PM (from what I can see on videos they look alot better). Viva Mexico! :)
