How to break in a car stereo Subwoofer

How to break in a woofer in just 1 hour. This technique is helpful if you have built your own subwoofer enclosure.

The amp gain on 10 will make the amp hot even if the volume is down low

I didn’t know about breaking them in and mine get hot and smell. I bought some 2 12in skar s in a sub box. It might be hard to break them in my apartment.

Start out at a low volume, you just want to get them moving in and out. Do not push them to far or you will overheat the coil.

How did you control the movement on the speaker do I have to buy your whole set up 🤔

Use either the phones volume control or the Amplifier gain to control the movement. Never go for max excursion on a brand new woofer. Start out mellow then work your way up.
