OMG I am excited to get this to the table, particularly co-op mode. Quick question: are the walls limiting your space strictly necessary? Like, can you just remmeber you are only allowed a 3x3 area for a solo game? Just thinking of how to reduce fiddliness of walls breaking... Thank you for the playthrough!
I hope you do soon, it is a BLAST! The walls are just to make sure you don't explore some weirdly shaped dungeon. I may just get rid of them as the tiles don't "really" fit into them that well, and they keep coming apart. I think the frame is more important at higher player counts. If you play co-op let us know how it goes!! I am worried about length as my solo games usually last 2 hours or so. . . Thanks for watching!!

I'm not sure about bgg. I bought the game from his site (www.ganeshagames.net) and was sent a notice that it had been updated. I just opened the pdf that I have and the title page says that it is version 4.0 of the rules. I do not have the book handy so I can not check that.

Love your playthroughs Colin. As someone who has recently gotten into solo gaming they are perfect. I was really excited about the new kickstarter for this and was keen to pick up a copy, but postage to Australia pushes the Champion Alliance pledge to $140 - slightly prohibitive. Would you say this is still your top dungeon crawler?
Hi Mark, bummer on the shipping sheesh! I have seen others ask about it in the comments section. Currently this is still my number 1 Dungeon Crawl. The 4 hero combo and the card play is just too good for me not to put this at the top of my list. LOVE IT! Adding the Adventure Packs will be pretty amazing. . . Fingers Crossed you can find a copy!
Thanks for sharing. Too bad they didn't have those edge pieces fit together like a puzzle piece. And, it looked like they were bowed a bit which kept the ends from lying flat.
Agreed, the border for the dungeon could have ben built better, but honestly playing solo you don't really even need it. Playing with more though it might be needed, especially at setup. Regardless I am glad they spent the time on the mechanics and cards, as those are quite good!

But it feels a lot like Mage Knight so I REALLY feel this would be a good choice for you! There are a few copies on BGG selling now!
If you suffer from analysis paralysis this game will kill you. Its crazy how much thinking is needed to play all your cards to their best advantage. Great game.
Weird that you need this frame. It's pretty clear for a solo game you use 9 tiles. So I will skip using the frame. It actually says illustration by... on the bottom of all the cards. Guy really needs his credit huh?

You reveal the quests before you draft heroes. This is very important otherwise you may end up not being able to complete any of them.

When you play multiplayer does every player have 1 character or 4?
