You showed all the parts except the last O ring, which I wanted to see. Other than that GREAT video thank you very much.

Hey Rudy, this was my first time making an instructional video. I could have done better haha but I’m glad you still found it useful.

He could use the sloan A-50 Super Wrench but what he's using is ok. The jaws on that channellock are smooth without grooves. Good video

Wrong. Those are your everyday 440 Channellocks with teeth. The Sloan A-50 is just ok. It does not fit snugly enough on some of the nuts - especially the handle nut, and it will marr the corners of that nut. The ideal tool is an offset hex nut wrench. It works on every flushometer nut, with a perfect fit, regardless of brand.

Let me tell you Emmanuel you are using the wrong wrench to remove the flushometer. The channel lock will destroy the knob when you loosen it or tighten it. The proper wrench 🔧 is the Cresent wrench. 😂

You can also put a rag or microfiber cloth over the flushometer to prevent scratching the chrome

Thank you for that. I’m not a plumber but I was able to save a ton of money and I wanted to help others

😂 good video. Ask your employer to buy the right tools tho. You need a Hex Pipe Wrench to remove the hardware without scratching it or eating it up with the teeth of the channel lock wrench.

Why are you teaching viewers to use channel locks with groves and your using your channel locks the wrong way on top of that haha! Cmon brutha. Please EVERYONE who reads this u never use Channel locks that have groves one finish trim…u will gouge the crap out of your finish trim and say well that guy showed me on TH-cam lol. Use a finish wrench that’s jaws are smooth with no teeth
