Watching back this interview to try and get a feel for the man, or perhaps the man of the past, to get my head around how on earth the current situation could have arisen. Hmm. No parties, and a more stable organisation indeed. I wonder if it might end up just one man. 9 years ago it all sounded positive. Now?
Monies went into the personal account of the Southern Bishop. If that is not dodgy I do not know what is. Yet when the affair was investigated it was ‘resolved’ by the simple expedient of him transferring the amount into an official FCE account. Some explanation is surely owed to those of us who contribute to FCE congregations for the maintenance of the witness to the Reformed Faith.
I think you need to check your info. The Charity Commission investigated, and they were cleared of any wrong doing. This accusation arises every so often as it suits those raising it. Members of the ECFCE has vested interest in keeping it alive.
Perfect example of those that LORD IT OVER. Just like the Pharisees. So done with episcopal polity. It has not benefit whatsoever. The congregations are always more faithful than the bishops.
The Holy Spirit is one and the Holy Trinity is One and Indivisible. There is only One Bride of Christ through Grace and this Ecclesia (Church) cannot be divided, cannot go on splitting up ( through our human pride for being ‘the righteous one’) into sub- branches, making a mockery of The Holy Spirit.
God Bless Brett Murphy and his family 🙏
God is blessing Rev Murphy and his congregation

God always exposes the unjust and self-righteous.
Just watched a video with Rev Brett Murphy. He called out a certain bishop. Well worth listening to.

Wonderful interview. Would love to see some more interviews with Continuing Anglican Groups.

Great interview, thank you Bishop John.

THERE MUST NEEDS BE DIVISIONS AMONG YOU. --St Paul

But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
