- This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see tasvideos.org/...

Unlike in the comic books, here Spider-Man talks less and smashes his enemies more - with boosted (tool-assisted) efficiency. The run also features some speedy movement via web-slinging.
This is about a 11 second improvement over the previous ( tasvideos.org/... ) movie by Neofix ( tasvideos.org/... ) and mmbossman ( tasvideos.org/... ).
Note: The movie length is longer than the previous movie because the author kept the movie recording long enough to initiate the final credits (unlike previous movies).
This was the first western Sega Genesis game to display the true ear-piercing power of the GEMS sound driver
lol
KINGPIN: You've got 24 hours
SPIDER-MAN: *20 in-game minutes later*
He's like the Spiderman of this game.
that game feels spooky back then...
The Spider-Sense thing was actually kind of a cool feature. It was just a neat way of warning the player about off-screen danger while still being thematically appropriate.
Excellent tas bro 😏👉👉
This was one of my first Mega Drive games and my father had to switch because it was too hard for me lol.
I remember renting this a couple times, didn't find it good enough to want to own but it was good enough for a few rentals. But I only got to the final stage with a Game Genie. And even then, I never beat the Kingpin (I could tell what had to be done, but couldn't get the timing...I was bad at games), so I only ever saw the bad ending. Yeah I was like eight or nine, but that's a harsh punishment, especially if you're a little kid (aka the target audience) and you got there legitimately, and to not be able to beat it even with a Game Genie...that was the mark of either a hard game or I was a dumb kid.
And then there was the Sega CD version, which was a definite improvement, but despite the actual talent involved in the cutscenes (for instance, Cam "Leonardo/Liquid Snake" Clarke voices four characters, and Peter Parker is voiced by Peter Renaday, aka Splinter from the first Ninja Turtles cartoon...seriously look up the voice cast, it's something), they can't help but make me think...
Peter: Gee, it sure is boring around here.
Mary Jane: Mah boiii, this peace is what all true heroes strive for.
Peter: I just wonder what Kingpin's up to!
Nah wasn't just you, this game was legit difficult. Even more so when you ran out of web, yeesh...
Yeah, this shit was hard as fuck. I've never beaten the 5th Venom (after the Goblin, which doesn't go away as usual). That was the point where I got stuck as a 10-year-old kid. Much later got to the Kingpin with cheats (something like you can replenish health and web any time) and even with such cheats fighting him is insane! I replenished like 30 times to beat him. I mean sure, you can "git gud" but grinding it every time through almost the entire game just to die in several seconds as a kid... frustrating as hell!
rofl thanks for the story
Venom: "hey pete, got a second to hear about our lord and savior Knull?" seriously, venoms like a popup add in this game, poor dude dosent even get his own stage.
SEGA was the master at digital fart sounds.
Amazing Spiderman

And Venom was like "NOPE, GETTING MY SPIDEY ASS THE FUCK OUTTA HERE"
ultra sinting spiderman
I don't think I have ever beat this game. I got stuck at the part where you fight hogoblin.
Spider-Man vs kingpin is hard but I can beat it
I didn't even know the game had a nightmare mode hahaha
It does. It just makes Venom appear more often.
@@qmchale5130 wasn't there some contest where you had to mail a picture of the clear screen to claim a prize (or entry)?
Stupidest Spiderman ive ever played. I was wondering why this game exist. And it was hard one.
