And that VILLA is the pure luxury: flawless bed, great decor, a huge and lovely bathroom (with vanity for him and her ) and I got crazy w/the ceiling, those huge pivotal doors, the sculptures ❤ and that leather and dark wood table in front of the bed and over a recammier, oh, is one of the most genius design 💡 idea I've seen ,I have to have one !!😅

Exquisite quality, as always. I very much appreciate the longer version of the video. Pondering the cost of this resort, I appreciate knowing every last detail. The menu of Le White in terms of variety was closer to the Cheesecake Factory than a fine dining restaurant. It's difficult to imagine that they can maintain a high standard of quality with this many items in the menu.

How did you find Cheval Blanc in comparison to Velaa in particular? Since these are really top two it would be very interesting to know. Thank you for the great insights! We watched your Velaa video multiple times before going there :)
I wonder how these resorts deal with electricity, fresh and gray waters?
Do they have a spot on the island where a huge diesel generator runs non stop? Do they dump fecal waters with a burried pipe away from the islands? You know. Things that nobody really wants to know.
From a shot in this video we can see that they have actual city nearby, but not all islands are like that.
Most resorts generally have waste processing facilities located in the center of the island, along with other maintenance areas and staff quarters. All the visitor stuff is kept to the edges of the land area, and of course, over water. The city of Male isn't nearby: it's a 40/45 minute plane ride from Cheval Blanc.
@@dragondawn420 I have heard distances look deceiving when you only have the horizon to compare. Islands could be further away than they seem. I think these resorts would do a great deal for the environment they are situated on and ease the minds of visitors if they not only show the accommodations but also the maintenance facilities to show that they have the same mindset not only for the guesthouses but also for the waste they produce. If perfectionism is their target, then that should reflect everywhere, not only at the facade . This is not a criticism by the way, just a second thought. If I was a guest on such a place I would like to know how am I getting all these goods. I wouldnt like to find out that I am bathing in one lagoon while another one on the other side of the island is being destroyed. I would understand if I find out that everything is brought in on a boat that obviously needs fuel and that the hotel cant run on solar, but it does us a genny. These are just some of our current technological limitations.

Lol, still was the second maldives resort that caught my attention. #2 for me after Soneva Jani (only looking from your videos).

I wonder, how are this islands protected against storms and big waves? Because, Gernany also has a small number of islands like these ones, of course without palmtrees, where you can spend your holiday on. But, the Northsea often floods parts of these islands during stormy weather.
And how are they connected to a national grid system? Or runs everything through solar or a diesel generator?

i visited the construction site of cheval blanc seychelles, the former banyan tree, last year. Now I've got an idea what they plan to do with this masses of concrete. The overwater villas are nice, no disturbing jetty traffic in front of them, but the main buildings are much too massive for such vulnarable paradises, just my two cents

Hey Traveler. Booo the junior executives weren't with you on this trip, hope they are well. Of course they gave you a "Sunset Sided Villa" for your stay, because you cannot have a successful video without the Million Dollar Sunset Component, right ?? he he he he. The full footprint of that bathroom is larger than the entire "Great Room" in my home.
