    Thank you. Good information. Got same amp, the Yamaha. I’m always gobsmacked with the loop sound coming out of a loop set. Not to tech savvy to figure it out. This should be one of my options.

    It has insurmountable lag. If you're wanting to layer loops it's worthless. You get one track and that's it.

    Thanks for the review. Will this work for the Spark 2?

    One problem with the looper & Airstep is that you cant use both if you have Airstep SPK model. You have to change channels manually on the Spark 40.

    The problem with the looper is the looper itself. It not does allow undo of your last overdub. All you can do is erase the whole loop. So people who actually want to have a basic but functional looper this product is not ready, sadly. I’ve seen several reviews of this product and none of them say anything until about this until the video is halfway over. By then it will be too late for for some of us. Buyer beware.

      At least this guy sounds good. He’s obviously used a looper before and I bet he feels bad but that’s what happens when you’re reading a script/outline on a sponsored video.

      @@davidschnittman7954 I think that functionality is coming with the next firmware update. You’ll be able to un-do mistakes while you’re looping soon.

      He hasn’t even mentioned that there is no UNDO. Terrible looper. Terrible review for not saying ANYTHING about undo of overdubs. He didn’t even do a single overdub, I think, so you don;t even know if overdubbing is possible.

      @@davidschnittman7954 calm down David, I’m right here. You can talk to me if you want. I make a bunch of different videos on my channel, and very occasionally, I get paid a small fee to make a product demo for a company. I’ve made hundreds of free gear videos over the years. I write my own scripts for the videos I make, and XSonic doesn’t tell me what to say. In my opinion this is a great product for anyone who has a Spark or THR. I tried my best to showcase all of the functionality, but sometimes it’s tough to fit that into a demo video. If you don’t like me or my videos, you don’t have to watch them. You can always make your own videos. Take care and good luck finding the right looper for you.

      @@DrewCreal Ok Drew, I’m sorry if I seem overly upset but in fact I am upset. I guarantee you there are a lot of disappointed owners of this device who can’t understand why it’s “not working right” and I was almost one of them. I’ve watched about 4 of 5 of these videos over the last couple of months and they all follow exactly the same format as yours with regard to “UNDO” function. So if you reviewers are not following a sponsor’s outline of some sort let’s just say that’s a mighty big coincidence. Each of these reviews gets a little bit past the half way mark before any of them even mentions that the looper won’t undo dubs. A good review, an honest review would say this FIRST because it’s a huge problem. The advertising/advocatng for this as a true looper solution is just insulting to all of us who use basic loopers in our rigs and have been WAITING years for a SPARK looper. Every ENTRY level looper pedals on the market going back for at least 2 decades or more allows UNDO. This pedal only allows you to erase the entire loop. While the fact that there’s any looper available for Spark (in my case) amps is a step in the right direction the fact that it is being lauded as a “great looping solution” by every reviewer so far when it doesn’t have the basic UNDO looping functionality of any dirt cheap conventional looper is just incorrect at best and perhaps actually deceptive at worst.
      You’ve obviously got experience with operating looper pedals and surely you know this, don’t you? An honest review of this product (at least for spark) would laud the fact that with this pedal you have a good option for a LINE OUT which is a great thing for us SPARK users but that the looper is still awaiting basic UNDO functionality which will hopefully come in an update. But for now it is only marginally useful as a looper since it lacks an undo function of overdubs.

    Will the Ulooper process the stereo signal from the THR effects or will it only process mono?

    • @DrewCreal
      @DrewCreal  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure it just sends a mono signal from the amp to the output of the ULooper.

      Hi.With the send output connection from the pedal,using THR amp,do know if the signal to a PA,for example,includes the speaker’s simulation from the THR?I know with output connections on the back THR,you lose the emulations.Not on amp speakers,but yes on the signal you want to amplify.
      Thanks

      @@enriquerierariera6374 when you run the line out from the back of a THR 30, it still retains the speaker simulation. This is also the case when using the ULopper, the speaker simulation is still there.
