      Hope it went well. How long did it take? Did you have to wear that head harness inside the machine?

    Can you mention how long this process takes for upper cervical MRI? Please and thank you.

      Most of our MSK MRI scans are under 30 mins. The length of a Cervical Spine MRI is 18-20 mins. The extended length of all scans is determined by many factors, such as existing hardware in the area of interest due to previous surgery, patient motion, or retained electronic implants that have to be scanned under specific guidelines.       In 2019 I had got MRI done for my C7 ,it took almost 45 minutes plus 15 minutes for contrast MRI. Nearly 60 minutes

    Lady told ne was no worse then any other mri i made sure ask though i was on my back as one time had lay on stomach pilllow sliped under my face when put me in forgot guve me panic button. So i had alot extra concerns and she said was no worse then avarge mri um cage over my face is big magor glad i called dr taking anxiety meds prior but now panicked though

    Why is that covering his face? Is that optional Iam claustrophobia

      It’s absolutely awful! It is a camera, and also a couple of mirrors. The mirrors are so you can see out by your feet. That actually makes it worse for me. Such a bad experience. Some people are fine with it, but I have an awful time. Good luck

      @@wtiy ugh! Sorry to hear that. Did they give you anything? I had another two tests a few days ago, and I have no clue how I did it. Freaking awful.

      @@HarryBallsss I did an open MRI instead and I’m not even sure if it’s the reason why I couldn’t get a proper diagnosis or not.. so I’m thinking to redo it all over and face my fear.
