During explaining the igbt's equivalent circuit you have added direction along with collector terminal.
Sir thank you so much. Please explain how J2 is removed to allow the flow of current?
Sir plzzz also explain about switching characteristic which is also a important term in it
will the current start being constant from the same Vce voltage before reaction saturation regionn or will the current be saturated in highrt Vce when Vge is increased.
Please post practical uses of IGBT also.

I think the saturation region is towards the left side of the output characteristics curve and the active region is the middle part of the curve.
It is right here
I also studied in book that saturation region is un left and active regiin is in right side.. I am confused now.

It is easy to get confused because a mosfet is usually show to have a saturated region where the bipolar is shown to have an active region. The igbt is usually shown to have the characteristics of a bipolar transistor so the saturated region is on the left and the active region in the middle, before breakdown region. This tutorial shows something completely different.
why in we have different names for constant current region, in Mosfet it was active region while it IGBT it has some different name

while increasing VGE (voltage across GATE and EMITTER), how that VCE (voltage across COLLECTOR and EMITTER) get reduced and IC (COLLECTOR current) increased.can you explain me.
didnt explain how current can flow when the P junction gains electrons.
When that particular area of p region gains electrons....the electrons becomes the majority carriers of that particular section...so that section eventually becomes an N REGION. So their is a clear path to flow current from...P to N...i.e from collector to emitter
