Removing my old hose was ##$-# nightmare. It was comepletely mummified at 154,000 on my 2015 honda civic. I did not notice that it wasnt even plastic anymore it was just hardened piece of dust. I had a hell of a time trying to tale it off the throttle body and remove the aluminum tube. Everything was just frozen caked on together. It completely fell apart once i touched it. Putting the new one on was a pain in the ass. I had to apply a lube to mating surfaces because it just would not slide on. Rubber hose sides kept catching. But now that its done and throttle is cleaned the car accelerates like it was new. I dont know how many miles i drove with that issue but glad its fixed.

Nice video 👍 FYI U shouldn't be taking off that negative cable like that. It actually has a fuse on it. Taking it off or putting it on like a normal cable could pop the fuse. U need to unplug it first before removing it from battery post 👍 Its a very expensive mistake many make 😬
I cleaned mine !! 2015 Honda civic !! Thank you so much ! Now I have a 5 error codes that pop up . Common issue I see online but don’t know how to fix it . Can you help please ? Says check tmps , power steering , hill start assist and check emisión system
Less than a year old. I followed the steps to clean the MAF sensor and throttle body, let it dry before putting it back in. And drove it about 50 miles over two days when the Christmas lights came on.

@@bladimirlopez7201 it is usually something preventing the correct amount of air or fuel from reaching the engine for combustion. Check the MAF is clean or the air intake hose is not cracked. Do you have any P codes?

If I don’t remember wrong, they disappeared as soon as you drive a few miles. Have you tried that?
I got the same codes after driving 50 miles or so. What did you do to fix that?

At 1:15 in the video, what size is that screw/bolt around the air intake pipe?

Do you know why no one every just sprays the fluid into the throttle? Everyone uses a cloth or towel.
You don’t want to spray that in electrical parts
