    Removing my old hose was ##$-# nightmare. It was comepletely mummified at 154,000 on my 2015 honda civic. I did not notice that it wasnt even plastic anymore it was just hardened piece of dust. I had a hell of a time trying to tale it off the throttle body and remove the aluminum tube. Everything was just frozen caked on together. It completely fell apart once i touched it. Putting the new one on was a pain in the ass. I had to apply a lube to mating surfaces because it just would not slide on. Rubber hose sides kept catching. But now that its done and throttle is cleaned the car accelerates like it was new. I dont know how many miles i drove with that issue but glad its fixed.

    Nice video 👍
    FYI
    U shouldn't be taking off that negative cable like that.
    It actually has a fuse on it.
    Taking it off or putting it on like a normal cable could pop the fuse.
    U need to unplug it first before removing it from battery post 👍
    Its a very expensive mistake many make 😬

      @@TheTaker31 thank you very much for this information. I didn’t know that it has a fuse.

      If I don’t remember wrong, they disappeared as soon as you drive a few miles. Have you tried that?

      I got the same codes after driving 50 miles or so. What did you do to fix that?

      Less than a year old. I followed the steps to clean the MAF sensor and throttle body, let it dry before putting it back in. And drove it about 50 miles over two days when the Christmas lights came on.

    Do you know why no one every just sprays the fluid into the throttle? Everyone uses a cloth or towel.

    • @gotitdone
      @gotitdone  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You don’t want to spray that in electrical parts
