OMG. This is the easiest and most economical way to paint beads. Acrylic paint is not as expensive as spray paint, plus no toxic fumes. It's better coverage and the possibilities are endless. Thanks.

Oooh I am loving making necklaces and I used the same technique rolling the beads through the paint in empty plastic yoghurt pots and cardboard trays from tomatoes hehe. I have painted wooden beads using a kebab skewer to hold the bead and an old makeup brush because it is softer and I didn't want lines to do copper wax guild. AMAZING fun. I like ordering satin ribbon off etsy to put the beads on. No metal needed just tie it and untie it xxx

UPDATE: I tried this at Christmas with red beads and white accents. It came out amazing. This is my go-to method to paint beads. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I made some air dry clay beads and then did the the sand paint. They turned out fabulous. Wooden beads can be spendy, so this worked great for my budget.
