I used to be a hardcore Mortal Kombat and sf fan. With how mk has been going I've only been dedicated to sf and Tekken. My first street fighter was sfiv, and my first Tekken game was Tekken 7.
Namco made the right decision to go current gen only with Tekken 8. The level of detail in their character models are another level above SF6. That said I still look at SF6 and think its a good looking game and it obviously has a more stylistic look too but for me its Tekken 8.
Its not that its above, its a whole diferent artstyle, tekken focuses more on realism, sf6 is more anime style, not to mention sf6 is next gen too dude, its just, again, completely diferent artstyles

One's running on Unreal Engine while the other is on the RE Engine. So tbh I can see what they can do in Ninth Gen Consoles can do, especially when Both Bandai & Capcom has all the resources. Only difference is Capcom uses their own engine In-House while Bandai Build Tekken 8 From the ground up while having to pay Epic to use their Engine
Look at the quality of detailed realistic graphics better Tekken 8. But looking at the smooth animation details, facial expressions, and stylish art... Street Fighter 6 is indeed the best has its own vibe and concept.

Like compare the wild ways Juri's face moves as she kicks your teeth in to the cool abd calculating demeanor of Cammy. Nothing alike, it's like they're from different games. That said, I love both games and play them waaayyy too much. I just wish that King Of Fighters, one day, will reach this level.

Two completely different artstyles. SF6 still still more cartoony and while T8 is more realistic. SF6 is definitely more flashy and expressive. One critic of SF6 is that the lighting ingame is hit or miss. The game looks better in freecam. IMO not fully committing to next gen holds the game back and it should get a next gen graphical update.
Whoever was in charge of the pairings didn't do a particularly good job. Blanka over Zangief with King? Zafina over Reina when it comes to Juri? Although that one, you can still argue about. Otherwise, loving the idea of the comparison.
Honestly both are really good looking. Honestly streetfighter 6 has insane detail with the animation the clothing moves so naturally without clipping plus being so stylistic with everything. It doesnt feel like its hiding anything.
Both have amazing character models, which is 1 of my favorite thing. Especially all that muscle details, texture, normal map. All those muscle deformation flexing are amazing, all hail new gen muscle fidelity 💪. That's why I love them more than mk1.

CAPCOM wins with optimization though, gameplay is flawless and efficient with their in house RE Engine. Tekken 8's UE5 is bad atm but it will improve in the future on the PC version. Very bad port on the PC. I dislike the particle effects of Tekken 8.
All the facial expressions are stiff as hell in Tekken 8, not just the female character animations, the female characters’ are just more noticeable because of the lack of detail and fine lines on their faces, Street Fighter 6 faces look so much better and more realistic. Tekken 8 faces look like they all have on a pound of botox.
I think both games are miles ahead of their predecessors. TK7 looked a little rough and so did SFV but a whole lot worse because the art style was just not good. Both games animate so well that the shortcuts they take are barely noticeable. We should be thankful that even the in-gameplay cutscenes aren’t stuck at 30 FPS which is jarring and inexcusable for any fighting game.
Zafina's outfit 1 includes a scarf which Juri's outfit does not have that's why I chose outfit 4 Additionally, I couldn't find any similar character to Lars in Street Fighter 6.
street fighter 6 is a thousand times better than tekken 8, at least in street fighters you can see the passage of time much more, the characters become older, their moves change even if only slightly, in tekken you could only see the passage of time at the beginning, from 1 to 5, then from 6 to 8 it seems like only a few days have passed and their moves are always the same. In conclusion street fighter is an evolving game that improves over time Tekken is practically always the same thing with improved graphics

I enjoy both
All the facial expressions are stiff as hell in Tekken 8, not just the female character animations, the female characters’ are just more noticeable because of the lack of detail and fine lines on their faces, Street Fighter 6 faces look so much better and more realistic. Tekken 8 faces look like they all have on a pound of botox.

I think both games are miles ahead of their predecessors. TK7 looked a little rough and so did SFV but a whole lot worse because the art style was just not good.
Both games animate so well that the shortcuts they take are barely noticeable. We should be thankful that even the in-gameplay cutscenes aren’t stuck at 30 FPS which is jarring and inexcusable for any fighting game.
No Lars? When he's literally one of the main characters and why did you use Outfit/Default 4 for Juri and Zafina? That was stupid.
Zafina's outfit 1 includes a scarf which Juri's outfit does not have that's why I chose outfit 4 Additionally, I couldn't find any similar character to Lars in Street Fighter 6.

Game play TK8 it's more fun and the combos are more fresh
street fighter 6 is a thousand times better than tekken 8,
at least in street fighters you can see the passage of time much more, the characters become older, their moves change even if only slightly,
in tekken you could only see the passage of time at the beginning, from 1 to 5, then from 6 to 8 it seems like only a few days have passed and their moves are always the same.
In conclusion street fighter is an evolving game that improves over time

@hamzasami8459 Both games have questionable physics but at least Street Fighter has better developed characters that isn’t about male gaze or the storyline being about 1 big family issue
