It used to bum me out, but I have a whole evening planned just for me! I’m making myself a special dinner, making a cocktail, buying myself some beautiful roses and drawings a bubble bath, followed by an old movie and chocolate fondue for one! I’m so excited!
This is a wonderful topic! I will continue to learn to love myself. I started updating my makeup and even started to wear less. I do have a string of lights in my living room. This helps me create a peaceful environment. I have candles, incense and plants all around. I am learning about self love. I buy fresh flowers for my Buddhist altar about every 2 weeks. I am worth creatng a beautiful environment for myself. I will never settle for what I really want in my life. It never worked in the past. I need to put the time and attention into myself as you mentioned. I am in a new relationship with myself! Thank you for all you do. I use every guide you offer!!
Thank you Terri!!! I love you. You are the best. I am inspired from your talk to create my dream life. I have the strength and courage and stamina to persist through all challenges and come off a super strong lady who does good for the world and societies. God bless you, Terri, and Happy Valentine's Day to you!!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I’m a big fan of the love languages, and I love the idea of applying them to the way you love yourself. With that being said mine is most definitely acts of service. What I appreciate about that is that I was a single mom and have many health issues so it takes the burden off of me. How is that something I can do for myself though? I would love any ideas
What about simply asking someone else to take your kids off of your hands for a little? Expressing your needs can be an act of service to yourself, in a way. I know some of my clients have found neighborhood mom groups where they all take turns watching each other's kids to give each other a break. ❤️ Otherwise, what are some ways you can still fill your own cup with your kids? Depending on their age, maybe you can take an hour to yourself to read a book and make your favorite cup of tea or coffee, either before they wake up or after they've gone to bed. Can you fit in just 5 minutes of relaxation for yourself, maybe doing some breath work or meditating? I hope you find something that speaks to you. ❤️
Your intro...!!! Yes...love yourself like you love others! Valentines Day doesn't hold a lot of interest to me. I don't care for the commercial part if it, and hardly care to do anything for the kids, because they already have so much and candy ruins their teeth. Ugh. I treat myself when I need it, not based on a day. Off topic...your make up is 🔥!!!
This episode had me crying but one of those release moments. As if you knew exactly what I needed to hear and I know I won’t be the only one that feels it. I’m so grateful for the work you’re doing and it seems to be perfectly timed for where I am in my journey, thanks you Mama Terri, I think this will make me not hate Valentines day❤ the new perspective is refreshing and I absolutely love the idea of revisiting this day as a celebration of self love because really when you love yourself-thats the pathway to healthy love with others. I wish you the happiest of a Valentines Selflove Day!!! 🫶🏽
I am so glad it resonated with you and that you felt a release after crying ❤️ I love to hear that it offered you a helpful reframe of the day. Grateful to have you in my crew!

I don't make a big deal out of valentines day......what matters is how we treat others every day........not just one day.
Right on, Mary!
