- Happy New Year! I figured we'd end off 2023 with a room tour/basement tour. We'll take a look at ALL of the books in the Omnibus Library, check out what the statue displays are looking like, and explore the almost complete arcade room.

Gem in the future you should set all the lights to white, it’s annoying that the lights are constantly changing colour and you can’t see the statues very well because most of the time it’s too dark.

Yes I was going to write this comment, at the begining is ok to show the entire room with leds changing color, but for closeups is better to set the lights to white, I was jumping parts of the video for this same reason.

A solution for the bottom marks for your custom cabinets. Buy various sized circular wooden bases. paint them. and if you want attach a lazy susan under them so you can do 360 views of your statues

I have a deep appreciation for "Invincible" and "The Uncanny X-Men," particularly Claremont's run, which, in my opinion, stands as the pinnacle of X-Men storytelling. I frequently purchase my comics from Mom and Sons, and I also want to give a shout-out to Webster's Vault and Wanted Comix for providing excellent selections. Nice set up man

Didn't see the Heroes Return/BMB runs of Avengers either. Then again, I didn't know Nick Spencer had a whole Cap'n America set though! On that note, where does Captain America in Dimension Z sit chronologically I wonder?
Props for having the Doctor Strange Omnis. I'll have to keep a look out, esp for the 90's "Sorcerer Supreme ones. You have a pretty full collection. But It makes it tough to fit Tradebacks in. Love the custom fit shelving w/ the sliding ladder too! You really are minted, man. Could only dream of having a collection like you have! All of the major entities from marvel in Omnibus form... Don't see A.X.E judgement day yet though. I'll have to continue with the video... Big props on a beautiful room though!
One Last thing. You are Missing the Runaways Omnibus, and they are (sort of) a modern classic!
I'll definitely use this video as reference for future collections of Dr. Strange, etc.
They just released a Dr. Strange by Donny Cates and also the volume by Mark Waid and Jesus Saiz. No info on if there is an HC of each, but with any luck there is. All thats left after Mark Waid is the short-lived 7 Issue "Dr. Strange" Entry. Hopefully there will be a version of "Death of Doctor Strange" that eventually collects that, but following is yes, the "Death of Trade (hopefully they' have a hardcover)" which I'm hungering for myself to fill in my library of recent works. And that begins Jed Mackays' work which follows in the 2022, 10 -Issue adjectiveless- "Strange" vol. 3 and finally the current run from Apr. 2023 onward. Loving the peek at your collection, not sorry for going on a Doctor Strange tangent.
Want to collect the og. couple volumes (60's though 80's) in the "Epic Collections" Might go with an volume 2 of the omni if I can find it. At least I aspire too. Need that Jason Aaron Omni. Besides "Death of Doctor Strange" thats the only Modern collection I need to fill mine out. Here's to a bare minimum of 25 Issues (or more!) to Jed Mackays most recent run! Here is hoping that the new W.A.N.D. be more cooperative and have longer lived than the former rendition. Let's just bring together a "cosmic -S. H. I. E. L. D" That's what the 2023 "Fury" one-shot alluded to, possibly.
Also hoping to get a copy of Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise by Tradd Moore (read the mini, HIGHLY recomended) this and Silver Surfer: Black are recommended if you enjoy Tradd's trippy art style. I have a Silver Surfer vol.2 Iss. #1 I bought for $20. Silver Surfer is a very collectible commodity, but I still wish they would do another ongoing instead of one mini after another. At least he's getting good stories. Here's to omnibusses to more of the modern marvel work. Which I'll be reviewing this video carefully for in the future!

I always get mmmmmmaaaassssively jealous when i see these 'basement tours' of collectibles, big basements are a rare thing here in the uk unless you have the money to get a large detached house, but i would flipping love to be able to do this. i highly suspect others in the house wish i could too....

Wow the cards in beginning i remember i had that set and the first, first marvel cards that were made, unfortunately i lost them all plus the 2200 comics i had during Hurricane Katrina and Ida, due to evacuating for 3 months 😢 i remember buying my cousin 2 unopened boxes of cards cause i already had 2 sets. Wonderful display, I really like the blue floor and MK9 displays from Gamestop. I also do dig 90s old skool MK art, my fav is Patrick Rolo’s art on the MK Malibu Comics series Blood & Thunder along with Battlewave. They need to find Patrick so he came make a comeback for a new comic book, MK is due a comic series.

Very impressive X-Men comic book collection! Those Iron Studios statues are very nice, but personally I don't think any statues should be under 12 inches tall. And I still feel like you need something nicer for those Sentinel statues. Maybe an XL Coffee Table right there in the center of the room. Expresso color.

your basement certainly look better than mine unless you are a person who likes lumpy mold growing dirt floor basements. Anyway your shelfs are filled with nearly every type of omnibus and Manga except for the golden age like Golden age Batman, Superman, Wonder Women or Golden age Captain America, Marvel Mystery Comics, The Submariner or even Golden age Manga like Tetsuwan Atom AKA Astroboy. otherwise it a great looking room.
