I really like how Aglaia's normal boss theme started this raid series setting the tone that we're sparring with these beings we've always known as gods, and then Europhyne put a celtic-esque spin on it, and now we have Thaleia with this salsa/flamenco sounding theme. It really gives each alliance raid its own auditory identity while still having that "grand" sound that Aglaia introduced. In other words, praise the sound team. 🙏
Soken wasn't in charge of any of these normal boss themes for these raids. Aglaia's was handled by Takafumi Imamura, Euphrosyne's by Daiki Ishikawa, and from the sounds of the guitar recordings in this one I'd wager it to be Imamura's work as well. Soken only did In the Balance and Dedicated to Moonlight for the past raids.

The different themes represent the city states. Aglaia's battle theme represents Thanalan, Euphrosyne the Shroud and Thaleia La Nosca. The relevant gods in each activity are also representative of those city states and their neighboring or relevant countries. Halone is the patron of Ishgard, a neighboring province to the Shroud. Thaliak is the Sharlayan patron, whose vessel long ago became the foundation of Limsa Lominsa.
More than that, it sold the theme as we went along: Aglaia was grandiose and reverent. We were introduced with the Gods LARPing at being an existential threat to force our hand. Euphrosyne was much more chill and fun. We still weren't sure what was going on, but it was more of a "test of skill" than "trying to overcome another threat." And this is tighter than the other two. this sounds like something you'd hear on one of those boat rides you'd take down a moat in the middle of an italian city, and considering the environment the thaliak fight takes place in, that seems about right
