Coin collecting is a hobby, the elite coin collectors buy and sell and set their own standards. I am amazed that 100year old coin sells for 5bucks and 10year old coin can sell for 3K, go figure.

Something amazing happened to me yesterday..i want to the corner store to get some spring water and when i have received my change the cashier have gave me back two 2004 Jefferson nickles and what shocked me the most was they where 2004 P and D nickles..unbelievable you know i had to return and give them like two more chances😊😊

Enjoyed the video, I think the only reason only 8 coins have been graded in 68. Is because it's a common coin, and no one submits commons for grading much.

Ridiculous prices for common coins. I have 4 Eisenhower Appreciation medals from 1959-1960, the highest mintage of the 4 is 1,686 for the 1960 Newport and lowest is 250 for the 1960 Portugal visit. These medals are just starting to appreciate in price after a book was written about them in 2014 and they are incredibly rare as I am sure many were melted during the 2 silver booms.

Hi Shawn when these coins first came out I bought 4 rolls of Plastic rolls of these and have never been opened, would it be worth taking a chance and messing up a brand new unrolled and messing up something that later on that could be worth a Fortune later on for the whole Roll, thanks I know this sounds stupid but to open a new roll I think there should at least be a 68 in there. some where,thanks man.your great.

After I have my coins graded where do I sell them to receive this kind of money for them? What auction sites specifically? Because I have called coin shops and they are condescending to the point of anger when it comes to coins. They have no intention of buying anything of value unless it is precious metal.

What does that mean, is it not right side up when you turn it over like a normal 2004 nickel? I have one in my hand and I don't see any difference. Chris Michael It's what's known as a condition rarity. A common coin, in a very uncommon grade. Some people will pay outrageous prices for that MS 68 slab. That's all.
Have many, they are all circulated. Have many Lincoln cents all 4. As well as Lewis & Clark Westward journey nickels.

I would leave it sealed. at least until u can find a coin case to put them in.

I have one of the 2004 p peace medal nickel once I heard that it could have DDO on it. After checking the obvious and found doubling I had decided to check the reverse mine happened to have a lot more DD on reverse all fingers axe letters and ect....
I bought 4 rolls of these from the Mint in I bought in 2005 and have not ever opened the rolls, would it be worth opening the rolls they are in MS 65 to 70, and think I'll open them.

Ben Aquino try the PCGS website. They have a "Price Guide" section that will show the price depending on the grade. Some coins have no high graded coin prices listed bc they most likely haven't graded any yet. PCGS also has a Population Report, but they used to charge for it - maybe free now, unsure. The Pop Rpt gives the number graded in each grade for every US-minted coin.

Hi! you said that the costs of haveing a coin grade is between $20 to $30 but the PCGS page said that in top of the coin grading charge also charge 1% of the coin grading worth?????
Blue ridge silver hound. I found a 1987 D Jefferson Nickel that has solid black toning on the coin an I did the drop test with other nickels that were silver an I couldn't tell the too apart an tried with modern ones an you can hear the difference. Do you know how I could get this tested to see if it is an transitional error silver nickel?
