I had always wondered why they chose put a cursive “Liberty” on the nickel, different from all others. Its sooo cool that it’s Jefferson’s actual handwriting. Thank you both again for sharing your vast knowledge and continuously putting out multiple vids every week.
The irony is, Jefferson would be appalled to have his face associated with the machine that that currency comes from.

These nickels have always been a favorite of mine. Every time I find one, I set it aside. I'll take this information and go through our nickels and see If we have any finds.👍👍
Is each 04 and 05 nickel special enoigj to sell? Or not automatically by being 04 and 05 model/production years? thus limited edition?

I'm positive that I just received the Peace medal one in change yesterday and I know I have a few more of these in my 5 gallon water bottle that I put all my silver change in. I'll have to fish them out and check their conditions.

I have a number of these. I have a "double Buffalo" The hind leg shows doubling on the front and the back. In addition the whole rear of the bison is doubled. I have not found anything about it.

I have 2 of each found through roll hunting and change given through store purchases all in pretty good condition. It may be time to look at them again and sell any extras I have. If any appear to be a high grade, I may get it graded.

Great video to pique the interest in searching Westward Journey Nickels 👍 Western Waters has quite a few varieties with doubling evident on the waves, but none are as sought after as the speared bison. Nicely done J&B...as always

I always save all the 04 and 05 nickles but no errors yet! I thought early on that the 05 nickles might be collectable due to the one year only obverse but I guess not,oh well, it's still fun to collect!!

Just got one today in a roll from bank ! 12/15/2021 in nice condition.

I have a 2004 p gold plate piece metal in good condition, but I can't find anything about them except that they did make them. 😮

I have an "Ocean View" one. Another TH-camr says mine isn't worth a damn, but I'm going to hold on to it anyone because it may actually be worth something!
I have the 2004 Lewis and Clark nickel D but it's a little scratched and the dude on the front has a nose ring and a pony tail!
My mother gifted me 1 roll of uncirculated peace medal nickels and 2 rolls of the buffalo from this series. Am considering getting a value on them, selling them if reasonable, and then giving her the money to help her out financially.

@JBCOINSINC I have a question. Why don't I hear about or see videos about US Silver Proof Mint Sets ??? I get the impression that perhaps Silver Proof Mint Sets are NOT in demand. Will you please do some video(s) about Silver Proof Sets? Is it wise from a collector or investors point of view to NOT purchase Silver Proof Mint Sets because those sets are made from 90% silver and therefore NOT valued by collectors and that regular Proof sets is what I should purchase instead?
I have many rolls of un-circulated Westward Journey Nickels from 2004 - 2005. Perhaps I should open some of them and search them for rarities. I have one nice 2005 speared bison nickel I got in my pocket change three years ago. My late brother gave me a Westward Journey Nickel set for Christmas I believe in 2004 that has sentimental value to me.
Okay how do we send these coins in? Where ? How? And cost to get these coins on auction .
