  • Taking a quick look a the Multimod from Caline
    It's a multi modulation pedal that offers chorus, flanger, phaser, doubler, vibrato, tremolo and pitch shift. All the effects are really nice and it's built really well and very easy to use.
    Overall a great solution for a small pedalboard for some great modulation sounds.
    Excellent stuff Caline!!!!
    Thanks to Caline for sending this out to me for review.

    You had me at... "You can switch between all of them if the rate is set fairly low."👍

    Nice demo. Liked most of the sounds, definitely usable stuff.
    Isn't there a setting under pitch where you can get an octave? That's really the only use for that function as far as I'm concerned, especially an octave lower, though higher can be fun too. My Donner Harmonic Square does similar things but has settings that get you various octaves up or down plus the usual knobs and the weird intervals. The higher octaves sound sorta like a steel drum, so more of a novelty thing, but the lower octaves really add some fun depth and you can dial it down so it's not so extreme. I love it!

      Hey Chris’s thx for the comment. I haven’t played this in a while but as far as I can remember the pitch shifter doesn’t have an up octave or down octave. Great pedal though very useful.

    In the terms of pitch shifting and changing the tuning of the guitar, can you use this pedal to go for example, up 6 semitones, up an octave, or down 4 semitones etc?

      Hey. Thx for the comment. Yes that’s exactly what it does. But only for single noted at a time.

    Thanks for the video. I'm looking for an affordable all in one mod box that has chorus, vibrato, tremelo and phaser for recording and for fun. This seems like it will fit the bill.

      Hey. Thx for the comment. Yep this will do all those effects well.

    • @TheGuitarEffect
      @TheGuitarEffect  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey. No I do t think it does. I don’t have it any more. Sorry

    Can u turn the mix all the way up on the pitch mode and use it to change tuning like a drop pedal?

    • @TheGuitarEffect
      @TheGuitarEffect  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually I don’t know. But I’ll check. I’ll say for sure though it will NOT be able to track well enough to do that convincingly. You really need a digitech drop or a Morpheus or a polyphonic whammy.

    I'm usually a big fan of phaser but this one didn't quite do it for me. The chorus sounds were quite good tbf though

      @TheGuitarEffect  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like the phaser it’s no too overbearing. Not mega chewy though. I think as an all rounder it’s pretty respectable for the money.

      Hey Jaco. To be honest I’m not sure. I will say that it doesn’t seem to colour my tone to any problematic degree when it’s off

    fwiw its always worth sticking an acoustic guitar instead in to the pitchsifter option on these kinds of pedal
    for a novelty

    • @TheGuitarEffect
      @TheGuitarEffect  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Samuel. I don’t play much acoustic but I’ll give it a go. Thx
