- The peddars way is a 60mile public byway across Norfolk following the route of an ancient Roman Road. It makes an ideal over night bikepacking trip on the out and back route taking in rolling English countryside and woodland.

Did this route from Suffolk, just south of Ipswich and back as a 2 dayer, lovely route and I think it was about a week before you did this ride! Great result on the GBDURO, epic and inspiring stuff.
What route did you take to get from Ipswich to Thetford?
@@MrEegcmstit Went up through Needham Market, Stowmarket and then Walsham le Willows. Little bit busy around Stowmarket but was very early in the morning!

Shame about the rain Josh. I did it last year but was fortunate to get amazing weather. Camped in a patch of trees near Fring. It's a beautiful trail. Doing it again in a few weeks time. Think I'll need more than 2 hours kip though. Thanks for taking us along.
Nice one, rain can get abit sucky but keeping moral high is good for longeveity, did my first bikepacking trip this summer with a friend ~920km in 8 days of riding and two additional rest days since we got 5 days with rain following us in a loop through out southern/middle Sweden, wast great fun , saw u had a "specialiced" carreing strap for ur cooking pot could u show it up close? ^^
I also Bikepacked along Peddars way about 2 months ago, it was a lovely couple of days ;) the trail got a bit rutted which made me crash, but all was fine luckily just a bit sore.
I’ve found it tricky to sleep on the beach in N Norfolk, drones and people in pick ups harassing you. Anyone know a good place?
