That was another beautiful tour and this landscape is simply fantastic🤩. But it seems you two were really annoyed with the guide and I can understand you. I can't stand people who behave like that either and I can't understand why people behave like that. It's lucky you didn't get past a swamp🤣. But that was a great conversation as an outsider, watching you two get upset about the guide😂🙈. Thanks for sharing Stoozer and have a great week. Ride on🙌✌
I am usually very calm and chilled and rarely let anything bother me Christoph. But this guy just went on and on about himself all day and never stopped. Flinty's patience broke in the end and they exchanged some choice words. His revelations about his bedroom activities with his new bride 'and others' was the last straw. Flinty had had enough and I must say I was relieved when he left threatening to sue us...😂 But the ride was fantastic 😁. Thank you for enjoying the adventure. I'm looking forward to catching up with your recent adventures with a beer or two. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🇨🇭🏴
@@bigstoozeradventures I can really understand you, that's a no go! I hope you have nothing more to do with this guy and I take my hat off to you two for sending him away. Have fun watching the videos and cheers mate
Chaps that was the funniest video I’ve watched in ages. Perhaps you didn’t intend it to be funny but your description and reaction to the mtb guide was hilarious. Thanks
Thank you Steve. We were most definitely not smiling at the time BUT we did see the funny side of it all afterwards, over a few beers. A very bizarre outing but we did enjoy the ride apart from the incessant 'I Am' story telling. Much appreciated. Stoozer. 🤠
In all the years that I have been mountain biking I have to say it was one of my most bizarre adventures. From the moment he he asked us not to film him up front it went rapidly down hill from there. He just went on and on and on about his possessions and what he had achieved in life. The list was endless, he literally 'rode us round the bend'. I have my best pal 'Flinty' to thank for sending him on his way. He just snapped and told him where to go. By the time we got back to Town I was feeling numb and had lost the will to live. The guy has no web site to refer to just a name. We met him by appointment but to be fair I did enjoy the cross country trail. Hopefully he will watch it but he came across as a 'thick skinned bugger' who couldn't care less. Part of me thinks he was just a sordid local biker (going through a divorce) trying to make some easy money... I actually decided to log our experience in the video hoping that he would see it and maybe reflect on the situation realising he was a total pillock. Mountain Biking is all about sharing memories, good or bad. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻
Thank you I really enjoyed that. It's Lovely up there I did a nice walk from Hawes a long time ago. A nice route and you made me chuckle, that Indian Restaurant looked good. It's very helpful of you to show the route at the end of the Video it gives context. I'm getting on and not got out on my bike much this year for health reasons but I really hope to get up there when I can as the old clocks ticking. Thanks for your effort of putting videos on here. Cheers 👍
What a really nice comment Chris. We thoroughly enjoyed the route despite the irritating guide 😂🤣😂. It's a wonderful short trail with a big country feel and the climb is not too demanding. I really appreciate your comment. Thank you for enjoying the adventure my friend. Cheers. Big Stoozer. 👍🏻
Alright Sunny Jim 😃. Yes I really should get the pipes out more often that is for sure. It was a great cross country trail over Black Hill Moss but a painful experience listening to the man 'who had everything and knew everything'. My pal Flinty really was at the end of his tether by the time we got to the coffee shop in Hawes. When we looked back on it we realised there was indeed a humorous aspect to it all and had a good chuckle to ourselves over a few beers. Thank you for enjoying the adventure. I really appreciate it. Cheers. Big Stoozer. 👍🏻
Bit of a bummer the problems you had with the guide on this trip, hopefully our riding in the excellent scenery with miles of off road track, the cute fluffy dog and curry at the Indian made up for it thank for sharing Stoozer 😁🤙
Apart from the bizarre MTB guide pal we did enjoy the trail and the scenery. The descent from Black Hill Moss was great fun. Hawes is a cracking wee town Gary. I love the Yorkshire Dales. Thanks for joining us on the adventure. Much appreciated. Stoozer. 🤠
Think its actually called Great Shunner Fell, did same ride a few weeks ago but in reverse. Stayed at CAMC site too. Lovely place. enjoyed the video, thanks
Hey Craig. Thank you for joining us and enjoying this bizarre adventure. He was actually supposed to take us to Great Shunner Fell but cut the plan short after receiving a phone call. Another reason why he cheesed us off. I recorded the trail on my Garmin and can confirm that it was the hill just below Great Shunner Fell called Black Hill Moss. He raced back to Hawes (after the descent) like a 'dog on heat' rabbling on about his ex wife and all his woes. Anyway we actually enjoyed the trail and had a good laugh about it afterwards. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻
😂🤣😂 Here's hoping you did not go on the same training course as this guy. He just talked about himself ALL DAY. Come to think of it he didn't even ask for our names 😂. A really bizarre and dare I say it entertaining day out. Definitely a trail with a difference. Here's hoping you enjoyed it. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻
Alright pal. Nice to hear from you. Yes it was a great tour. Especially The Cam High (Roman Road) Trail which I would do over and over again if I lived down there. Our base in Hawes was also great with lots of pubs and nice places to eat. I will be going back that's for sure. Thanks for enjoying the adventure. Always much appreciated. 🤠
I know. You just could not make it up. I have no views on bisexual men (each to their own) BUT I still cannot unsee some of the stuff he was talking about. Thank God Flinty eventually told him to "zip it". 😂. Nice to here from you. Thanks for joining us on this bizarre adventure. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
Honestly, you should name the guide so that others don't have the misfortune of hiring him and having to put up with his rubbish. No different from leaving any other online review which is how people offering professional services of any kind are normally evaluated and how information about the standard of their work is shared for the benefit of potential clients and customers.
I think you are right and may well mention him in a future video. But I did give my word not to show his face or reveal his identity. So it's a bit of a dilemma. He was recommended by someone in the area and does not have a web site or reference where I could post a poor review. More is the pity. It really was a very bizarre adventure to say the least my friend. Thank you for your encouraging words and watching the adventure. Always very much appreciated. Thank you. Stoozer. 👍🏻
😂🤣😂. He was insisting on 'cash in hand'. I can't remember the last time I had any cash in my hand. When we got to the cafe in Hawes he demanded we go to the Cash Machine. That's when Flinty snapped and threatened to stick the only £10 note he possessed in an unspeakable orifice. I'm sure he will get over the loss the next time he is sunning himself on his Speed Boat with his new bride...
Absolutely, a very bizarre day out to say the least but the cross country trail was nice despite a short blast of crazy weather. I have just checked out some videos on your channel. Your adventures look great. You have a new sub. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻

OMG that wee dog is so cute. Well done you two for not putting up with that guy's nonsense.
I want one 😃. The wee dog just came out of nowhere but fortunately it followed us back to it's home. 😃
