I definitely need to try this on my i5 9300h, at 4 Ghz it uses 40ish watts and immediately goes to 95° C. If taking 500 mhz off helps that much I’ll definitely try it before undervolting. Its funny logic would tell me that 4.0 Ghz would get more FPS than less but 3.5 gets the same except steadier and a hair more (margin of error). I know this is mainly in regards to laptops but I find TechYesCity’s take on desktop undervolting and overclocking really interesting. Overclocking is almost dead regarding new hardware, considering the efficiency is greater and theyre already pushing the hardware to its limit from the factory the performance gain from overclocking is less than the gain from undervolting. Your getting greater performance, increased lifespan and a lower power bill

I have i7 devices, it also thermal throttle. But after using this my cpu not throttle anymore. It is stable at 3.2 GHz

how can u tell your laptop is being thermal throttled

@@builtbyrhondy1111 it's easy, u just need to check the turbo clock for all cores in ur cpu, if the clock fluctuates or even doesn't reach the specified, then it is indeed thermal throttle
