I hope one of y’all see this. It’s ridiculous to boycott something like hogwarts legacy that jk Rowling has barely any involvement in and hurt all the other people involved in the making of the game. You want to make Rowling lose a little money on a video game and simultaneously destroy the dev team and the families they have to feed who spend all of their 40 hour work week working on the game. You’re shooting into a crowd of civililians hoping to hit the one criminal in there
I've been dreaming of buying a switch for ages so I can finally play MK8D, ACNH, Smash Bros. BotW, Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 3's Salmon Run & Ringfit ~ then maybe Pikmin after some time too xD I grew up with not much access to video games compared to many people in the greater scheme of things and while I'm extremely grateful for what games I was able to dabble in, my "library" was very limited, so I resorted to watching games on TH-cam even though I wanted to actually get to play the games first and foremost -- all the way till now when I can afford to allow myself to be happy and buy games for myself on my semi-functioning laptop occasionally and it feels absolutely amazing, despite the 30fps & low res tech issues lol. I love video games so much they bring me an insane amount of joy and I want to thank you guys for filling the void with your Switch content ~ I may not have a Switch yet, but I love being able to hear about it, that's for sure xD love you and I'm sending cozy hugs!!
I love how Wood is always hanging his head in shame when Bob makes an inappropriate joke, but then he just blurts out "Animal Crossing but you can have sex with the villagers". That's hilarious.
i think he's always been like that. But he's been doing Beatemups which is PG, his PG filter is like muscle memory already, so probably at the start of the podcast, his filter is just full blast and now he's acclimating to a podcast format(with wulf) slowly losing his filter.
For the BOTW durability system I came to the realization that it's basically a way to replicate different ammo types in shooters (Like Doom you only get so much shotgun ammo, BFG ammo, etc.). But since swords don't have ammo you just break the whole sword throw a million of them around the world and have them respawn occasionally.
I just want the swords to have the same durability as the shields. When it takes fully THREE weapons to kill one of those stupid rock golems, that's not fun, it's just frustrating. The shields last forever. I'd be OK if they just doubled the weapon durability. *Double.* That's it.
@@brayoungful Fair enough, definitely room for tweaking the durability system. I definitely wouldn't want it removed since finding weapons is a major motivator to explore. And to your specific example with the rock golems they're best handled with a low damage, high durability weapon like the iron sledgehammer, rather than swords/spears.
A Portkey is a magical object enchanted to instantly bring anyone touching it to a specific location from Harry Potter so the studio name is a nod to that
I think Switch 2 should turn the Switch into a platform and end the concept of console generations. Switch is on mobile architecture. There aren't Android 13 or iOS 16 exclusive games. Everything on mobile (and PC) is backwards AND forwards compatible, and newer systems just have better technological features and run older games better. It would be insane to throw away the Switch's unprecedented contemporary install base. The Switch 2 should be compelling enough for people to upgrade, but Switch 2 games should be playable on Switch 1 with reduced fidelity/features like a PC, not with different versions like PS4/5.

Bob is right about holiday 2023 for new system. It should be backword compatible...I think its gonna be expensive and with backward compatibility they can keep selling last gen hardware as well as extending nintendos goal to hit over billion software sales.
It seems kinda obvious to have metroid prime 4 as the launch title for the switch 2 of my speculation but nintendo has used prime to be a graphical show piece for gamecube which leads me to think that MP4 will again be used as a graphics sales pitch for a new system as well as inflate metroids sales as a launch title
By the way, I live in SA, and we still can't get Steamdeck, at all, so literally the only decent Handheld gaming console we can easily get is a Switch, so I kind of live vicariously through you guys, when it comes to my Handheld Gaming fantasy...okay enough of my Bullshit, so Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, let's go!

You guys are crazy. New fire emblem graphics look so nice. The battle maps remind me of the gba stuff. Idk. I think the aesthetics are fun.
So i have been following you both for years now and love everything you do thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤
I still haven't received my December tokyo treat box
Next Order isn't new, in fact it's from 2016-17. It's new to the switch is all.
