These headphones do have amazing sound quality especially for their price, but I did want to mention that they do have pretty bad sound leakage. This is definitely something that you should take into consideration if you like to listen to loud music and plan to be in areas that are quiet because people may be able to hear what you are listening to. (At least, this is with my experience with the headphones.)

I love my Major 3's, they sound good, and the battery is freaking amazing. The only downside/negative is that the earpads are not so comfortable after a lengthy period of time. It sometimes "hurt" my ears after 40-60 minutes of use. Seeing them changing the earpads for the 4's is a big upgrade to me, though I'll keep my 3's for a while since I use them mostly for my phone. I've got a lot of other audiophile headphones/studio monitors for serious listening sessions, so I'm good when it comes to that. The Marshalls are perfect for casual listening/podcasts, etc. I can see myself purchasing another headphone from them in the future, though. Probably in a few more years.
    Thanks for the review.

I have these and use them for working at my pc, and I absolutely love them as they have great sound quality and look amazing :p. However it is important to know that they leak sound quite heavily (this isn't a problem for me as I live alone but it's something to consider), plus they get quite uncomfortable after a few hours (again not an issue for me as I only put them on for about 1 hour a few times a day).

I’m deciding between this one and Skullcandy’s riff wireless 2. Although skullcandy is popular among bass lovers, it just sounds hollower and it doesn’t stop any sound from coming in. Marshall major 4 has much better sound and passive noise blocking. But for daily usage I wouldn’t mind and riff fits tighter. But I heard about so many people having their riff’s headband broken, plus that I got Marshall at a 50 dollar discount, I’m still hesitating.

They sound great and last for ages, more than most I've had before. The only problem is they make you look like a tit. The phones being box shaped do not sit well on your ears and if you're bald they protrude out and make you look silly, like a telly tubby. They feel like they're gonna fall off any moment. Also the control knob is hit and miss. It is overtasked with numerous functions and while it looks neat and compact doesn't work efficiently. I much preferred the separate buttons I had on my old August pair which were better than these at half the price although the battery life was shite. They are also quite expensive at £130 sometimes even more so they are in the premium range although not high end like the Marshall monitors that retail at £270 and look much better with bigger ear muffs. I use them regularly and have gotten used to them. I listen to all kinds of music from bebop, RnB, folk, jazz and reggae, to hardcore punk and thrash metal and industrial and they deliver without any glitches. I wear them over head gear as they fit better and hold into place.

Bought these and had to return it. Everyone is loving them but For 107€ i expected too much. Sound quality is the same with my jbl 600btnc. And thats only 56€. Connection is not that seamless. No noise cancellation. When im on the subway i am only hearing the train, yes i can increase the volume but the music sounds distorted if i do that and i feel like it punches in my ear too much that im going to have a headache for listening to loud distorted music. Yes, it has 80hrs battery life but with my jbls that says 12hrs with anc, i only charge it once a week for daily 3hrs of use. Yes, the marshall major 4 look absolutely amazing and vintage and cool but maybe its all that. it just looks good. The sound is nothing special, you can have the same quality with cheaper headphones but if you like the look of it and its on sale then go for it . Hope this helps 🥰

I don't understand why people say these are so good? Have we tried the same headphones? I can't wear them for more than 30 minutes without my ears' cartillage getting wrecked, even after loosening them up. The sound quality is subpar as well. My $50 Wicked headphones that I bought used for $15 have better sound than that, at least to my ear. More clarity (even with the Wicked's extra bass). Nothing feels natural coming out of the Majo IV to me. My Sony MDR from the 90s have better sound quality too although, they're way too quiet. I think the high price is for the material and brand, not sound quality since my $50 sound SO much better, without hurting and block every sound around me while I hear everything else in the house with the Major 4 and I do have small ears.

The only problem is the button, it makes difficult switching on/off.

@@ziyaalee5831 Hey, well currently I'm in Georgia so I just bought in my local store where I could also make sure that it was an original Marshall major III. I just checked the price on amazon and looks like it's just boosted af. for mine I just paid 110-20$. I've no idea why does it cost much more cheap in my country but I can surely say that it's an original by the quality of it n the whole as* instructions which once again prove that it's original. anyways wish you luck, maybe wait for a sale and it should be the same price as i got it for!

@@ziyaalee5831 By the way, if you're planning to buy On-ear headphones you should be prepared that it will hurt your ears after using longer than 2-3 hours. if you aren't low in budget get Marshall monitor 2 ANC it has so elegant design, it can be folded so easily, it's hardly breakable (so is any Marshall's product) and it feels so premium quality that I'm amazed.

So many issues with these. Suddenly pause/play function stop working while everything else is fine. And not being able to pair at random. Really terrible imo, but it's possible other similar headphones are as shitty. Could just be that bluetooth is unreliable.

Hi, I think yes. I have Koss porta pro, Audiotechnica MX50 and these Major IV. For me is Marshall between Koss and Audiotechnica. For bluetooth listening are good too, but sometimes is possible to hear compression arfifacts for skilled ears. I am listening most time with Major IV due to wireless possibility.
