Wanted to surprise you guys with a double reaction to ON by BTS :) As always, these are just my opinions and my interpretation of the song, can't wait to see what you guys have to say not only about my thoughts, but most importantly, YOUR THOUGHTS & THEORIES, share them in the comments :) Hope I made some sense and "The hope didn't fcking die, bitch" is probably the best thing I have ever said on this channel hahaha!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh... lol, I was on Patreon, watching Road to Kingdom, then I just came to the channel to show my 9-year-old son the difference between there and here, and baaaam, you're reacting to BTS... hahahahah how can I keep up? stopping there, staying here for a bit... kisses, sweetie! I need a day with some more hours... lmao
When you said "The hope didn't fcking die, bitch" I laughed so much and it felt so cathartic! I'm going to start yelling this at myself in the mirror in the morning! 💜
The hope didn't fucking, die, bitch!!! Purrrrrrrfect!!! Love it!!! I believe they're in this eternal war against haters and their own internal demons, however, they never give up cuz they're stronger than that or anything else cuz they've got each other and us Army, their army, always with them. We are their weapons, and above all, they don't give up hope. At the end I think they tell us to count on them as hope as well like , let's jump off this fucking cliff of doubt and live, we're there for you as you're there for us, let's fight against anything, we can do it. .. one of the best of their mvs, i guess... Kisses, dear. See u on the next.
Jimmy Fallon asked RM what the song meant and RM just said "Bring it on". Asked to explain he said that they know that there will be hardships and criticism and negativity always thrown at BTS and ARMY (not the exact words, but the basic sentiment) but whatever, bring it on. ON also references one of their earlier songs, NO which is a call to rebellion against the strictures and expectations of Korean society on their youth. BTS songs always have layers of meaning and threads leading back to their earlier work. No wonder people describe being interested in BTS as jumping into the rabbit hole. Thank you for your thoughtful reaction, really appreciate it, so different from some reactors who have a "once over lightly" approach.
also they have a song called No More Dream which is their debut song 🥺 got emotional myself when i first watched this mv. i love when they do callbacks to their previous works
No more Dream eg lost alone depressed held down, given up on your dream etc. Then Dream meaning don't stop dreaming, remember your dream, continue to reach for your dream, regain your dream once again. That what it represents to me.
What especially hit me with this song is when Mera (another TH-camr) talked about what it meant to her and how it helped her in her fight with her illness. Especially the line "Bring it on, bring the pain" gave her the strength she needed to keep on fighting. The effect that music can have on people is truly astounding. And I don't wanna rag on them because I really like these two groups for their own music but Verivery and TOO's cover on Road to Kingdom pales in comparison to the original.
The ON m/v is also related to fake love, or atleast i think, in fake Love when jungkook in the gray shirt is in the building, in front of the water fall, a door opens in between the fall, and he goes through it, and then in on, at the start, Jungkook is seen running in water,in the Same shirt, he is running out of the water, and this time his hands are tied up, but they weren't in fake love, telling us even though he escaped one prison, he still is in another, i think-
I started watching the channel when you reacted to Thunderous for the first time and you quickly became 1 of my favourite reactors and you crept deep into my heart. Thank you for all the hard work and wonderful content. You definitely brighten up my day and I'm sure a lot of other people too. Stay healthy and take care of yourself 💜
I hope the translator delivers it well. I'm Korean .........😂😋 Anyone who liked bts from the beginning knows. This song is sung by talented people. The process by which they flee in search of freedom against persecution and suffering. I'm revealing it for the first time through Jungkook. Everyone is in a desperate situation. The war continued for their testimony. They eventually come together with talent.Amira built and proved Noah's Ark.The symbolic meaning of reaching the top with ARMY. Last scene. To see the beautiful green grass. Battle of their most difficult time. It's a record of war until everything is destroyed until their world comes. They were almost blindfolded by the jealousy of others. They proved it with this music. Mic drop
Just have to comment on the bird symbolism, because it's all a matter of personal beliefs and opinions. For example, many people consider ravens to be bad omens and owls to be wise and good, but many others believe ravens to be good omens, wise, etc, while owls are the bad omen. So whatever your bird tattoo means to you is what it means, and no one can take that meaning from you just because it might clash with their beliefs. Hope that makes sense. Peace. 🖤
Thank you. Some perspective....this song was meant to be the last song before their current 'break' for solo work.....but then the virus happened and they released the English songs, at which time, RM said they lost track a bit of "who they are".
the red cloaks remind me of the black cloaks from Fake Love! :D although maybe its easier to remember it if you happen to check out the extended version of Fake Love? wait…did you…or was it the normal version 🤔 the extended version has a couple extra scenes and pov in the mv itself while also having an extended scene at the end
The aesthetics and message of the On Kinetic Manifesto is pretty much my life’s reaction to adversity and my “thing” in fact in my younger days I very much dressed up like those back up dancers. The song itself has a lot of Jungian symbolism and the MV has so much religious social symbolism it almost gives me a headache but in a good way. They are so extra, always.
and also i unfortunately cant chime in too much on what i think this mv means to me since a lot of it is biblical referenced and i have no knowledge on that 😂
I'm sorry for saying this but it's so hilarious to me that you can pronounce the "j" in "Jimin" and "Jin" but Jungkook suddenly becomes "Jean Kook" like he's French😂. I hope you've checked out how to pronounce his name by now😉. PS. Not trying to start any drama, it was genuinely funny to me.
Ayyy you MUST react to Kang Daniel's ( a soloist) song/mv called "Paranoia". (Spoiler: it's a dark mv and a song talking abt him fighting his difficult depression during the past two or three years, from his own perspective)
Wanted to surprise you guys with a double reaction to ON by BTS :)

Hope I made some sense and "The hope didn't fcking die, bitch" is probably the best thing I have ever said on this channel hahaha!
i just got to the hope line and busted out laughing even though i knew it was coming! my favorite thing youve said now lmao

Best line ever!!! 😂😂😂😂
And you're reaction to you're own words! 😂😂
Fun fact: Suga produced the dance break beat back in 2013.

A master piece like all the rest😌
Yess
Jungkooks bridge in ON is iconic… god tier golden main vocalist!!
17:01 yeah it's JK, his reaction to it was so funny, it's like he was proud that he was behind j-hope, about to be that bird's meal
😂
The bird cages when I first saw this mv I asked myself the very same question.
I love BTS 🇧🇷🥰💜
Jungkook's vocals is amazing
Jimin🔥💜🔥💜🔥💜
The Jimmy Kimmel show where they perform at the central station is 💯💯💯
Great reaction, they are really amazing
God I love the Kinetic Manifesto!!!!

🖤
Laughed out loud when "the hope didn't f** die b**" spilled out almost involuntarily 🤣 I love how passionate you are about the analyses you make.

Anhh, the song that made me an army 😌
Please make more bts reactions♥️
One of my absolute favourites. I far prefer the Kinetic Manifesto video, though.
You Go Sir!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🤩 Great Reactions 😉 Your Hope Is Alive ☺️😘 With Army!💖😍
I recommend you react to BTS storyline since you like analysing their MVs.

You are 100% correct! That's why I kind of lowkey said "I hope it means what I know it means" and not "what I think it means" 😁
0:48. 10:07. 11:49. 14:27. 21:12

reaccion a ``UGH`` plisss
I love your way of thinking and it makes sense for me. Just not sure if that's speaks for me (joking ^^)
Thanks for this :)
