I've always said there are three parts to these things. The "He Said" the "She Said" and what actually happened.
Either way, unless she was being negligent at work and has some kind of documented history this is not, typically, cause for termination. The fact that she is lawyering up kind of has me leaning towards her being a little more on the honest side. If you're an ef up at work you are explicitly told why exactly you are being released.
If this came about because other employees were caught watching her adult content at work it makes no sense to punish her and not them. My company has explicit rules about that and it's grounds for immediate termination.

Problem is it's her onlyfans account that is affecting the entire work place. Her contract would have stated that non-work activities can't have an affect on the work place. Her activities did so as per contract. Fired.
As for the watching porn at work, I would highly doubt a lot of them did it because it was porn but more because she advertised it to them at work and because they know her it's harder to keep the eyes off. Good luck actually monitoring them 24/7 to be able to catch them. What a logistic nightmare that would be.

The problem is, she became a distraction to other workers and you wouldn't want, well, many people wouldn't want their business to be known as that place with the onlyfans girl, the problem with only fans is these people link it on their profiles, whereas if you were on a porn website, you wouldn't find that link so it's kinda her fault for shamelessly promoting what should be her private life and if she was fired for reasons such as, other people need the money more than her due to her income on onlyfans then I have to agree because I'm one of them people and I hate how easy it is to make money just because you were born with the appearance, but that's the society we live in where hollywood dominated, well, even that was corrupt and still probably is. Sure, they should've focused more on the people that were actually watching her content, however the only reason they're probably watching was because it's 'spilling the tea'/drama/rumors about one of their co-workers. Once you get the source of this 'tea' out, then majority that simply got roped in would likely have no interest or purpose to watch anymore. You may call this a far-fetching idea, but for a small business, it's easy to fall into these unfair decisions since they've already been put into a tight spot already.
Also - she mentioned that her boss actually knew for months that she had an OnlyFans, so she wasn't fired because of working that. It really was because it was becoming a 'source of tea' for the co-workers to rumor about. Which unfortunately, it's either one person or a group of people.

Aside from that, I'm wondering if there's more to the story we're not hearing. Is it because she used to bring her OF content to work? Did she wear her uniform while doing OF content? And if it wasn't all straight women workers, or gay men workers, they absolutely would still be watching the content even if that worker is fired. Which also makes zero sense in firing her because the problem is left unresolved
End of the day, she wasn't the problem. The problem was the other nurses and not repremanding them for not staying on task. Even if the workload was exaggerated if the formal reason given was because she was keeping the others from doing their work it isn't valid. You could literally lick your finger and wipe it off easily. So we had a mini hearing via phone where they had to prove I destroyed property. When they were asked to present a photo of the evidence, the photo was blacked out. They had nothing. I won immediately and got like 3 months backpay. Worth it! But her thing... way more complicated. Not that easy. But oh well. This is why if you're going to do OF, you better prepare for every consequence that comes with it, including it being your only job for a looong time.

We were even told to cut our actual nails when they got too long. There's many reasons y. 1) it's not sterile. Under the nails carried a lot of bacteria and they'd easily break open gloves. This would cause many infections on patients. 2) she worked in a nursing home, which means she worked with the elderly. Elderly people have very thin skin n with the smallest cut they'd bleed everywhere in which with some could b lethal. With those nails she'd pose a big risk of tht. 3) nurses do on hand work n those nails will definitely inhibit a lot of wht she can do. I just don't buy her story

I’m honestly not surprised about this outcome. I work pretty closely with nurses, and while I work in a hospital setting and they’re in an assisted living facility, it’s universal that nurses can MOSTLY get away with murder. Management is going to take the path of least resistance to fire one person isntead of firing all of their staff. Healthcare facilities universally are understaffed, so unfortunately degenerate behavior like this will often be overlooked.

From what I've seen, most caregivers are up to their neck in patient care. Is this person really an RN? I find it hard to believe as Nurse pay should be her primary means of income. The pay is tolerable, unless she is a CNA, they don't get paid as well. It isn't a reflection on their work- Nurses have different education & skill sets that merit the higher pay.

I think that she could definitely attempt to sue for wrongful termination if her story is truthful. I've worked in nursing homes for years and have seen them get sued for less. She should contact the labor board. She doesn't need paperwork saying that they fired her for that exact reason although that would certainly help. If the paper trail of write ups doesn't match her being let go then she could possibly have a case.

Ok but she wasn't actively being a distraction though? That's like firing someone because the rest of the staff decides to take time out of their schedule to bully them then firing the victim because they were a distraction bc no one else was doing their work. It's not her fault at all that the other nurses weren't doing their jobs. If she wasn't there I'm sure they'd find something else to do instead of working.

Did you know, radium is a chemical element with the symbol Ra and atomic number 88. It is the sixth element in group 2 of the periodic table, also known as the alkaline earth metals. Pure radium is silvery-white, but it readily reacts with nitrogen (rather than oxygen) upon exposure to air, forming a black surface layer of radium nitride (Ra3N2). All isotopes of radium are radioactive, the most stable isotope being radium-226 with a half-life of 1600 years. When radium decays, it emits ionizing radiation as a by-product, which can excite fluorescent chemicals and cause radioluminescence.

Actually depending on the type and location it's more common then you think. I have a friend that works in retirement/special needs homes that put her where she's needed like that. She calls me pretty often pissed because none of her coworkers do shit and she has to do everything on her own.
Just because some members of the workplace are legit and willing to work doesn't mean everyone is.
Now the lawsuit things, I always suggests talking to a lawyer just in case but that's about it.
Edit: Based on the information she gives I don't think she should've been fired, reprimanded probably she is a representative of her workplace, but the coworkers need fired or put on probation.

100% agree with the firing. You as an employee are an extension of the business, whether you like it or not. As such, if you create porn for losers and degenerates while employed, don't be surprised when you get fired for making said porn, as having a porn actress working for a reputable business is a bad look.

I'm a nurse, live and work in Texas, a right to work state. When you start working at most any place, especially in healthcare, you have to sign a document that you can get fired without cause, meaning for any reason. Can they do what they did by firing her? Absolutely. If she can get legal documentation, which I doubt she will, she can try to sue them but they'll wave this document in the lawyer's face. And yes, it happens.
Now, as far as her saying she's providing care to patients while the regular staff is watching her content--If she is monitoring the other staff's behavior, then I doubt she's providing care to any patients. It's just not possible for a staff member to monitor other staff while they're taking care of patients unless they're in an area where they can see the staff. Most elderly patients are bed-bound or in a wheelchair and need extensive care in their rooms so monitoring staff really can't be done while you're caring for those patients.
If the other staff is really monitoring her content all the time, then they should be charged with patient neglect and fired. But yes, if this is going on, then she is a distraction in the workplace and needs to be let go. She also needs to make a decision between her Only Fans content or being a nurse because being a nurse is labor intensive and we really cannot afford to have this type of distraction in the workplace.

    • @hairtoss7975
      @hairtoss7975 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

She's not distracting them, she's at work and they're not looking at her, they're looking at something on the internet and not doing their work. Distraction would be like a coworker tripping because he was looking at her ass, not doing useful work because he was looking at her ass, they were looking at something on the internet and not at her.
