Unfortunately , manufacturers have got us by the balls now. They lock our batteries and claim safety. This tool is a possible solution for some batteries but the designer decided to over price himself out of a potential market. Now , i think it's too late. Newer batteries wont be able to be unlocked.
Its very complicated software or system that manufacturers install because they don't want other people to rapair itself

Harshad bhai mera laptop 3 mahine pada reh gya aur jab chalu kiya to charge nhi ho rha tha . TH-cam videos dekh kar battery open kar liya aur every cell ko 4.7volt ke charger se charge kar liya charging se pehle sab cell 2.48volts pe thi aur charging ke baad sab 3.4 volts pe aa gyi but jab BMS se connect Kiya to output nhi diya multimeter se fuse check kiya to fuse uda hua tha(12AH3 fuse) mene bypass kiya but no output muje lagta hai ki lock ho gya hai please help 🙏
