    Pi prime was on sale for $239 @ my local Costco, they only had like 6 available. Picked it up QUICK

      $239 also includes a cover for the oven, a pizza peel and an IR thermometer

    Fantastic video! Lots of great information - very easy to follow and enjoyed the crisp, clean video edits. PLUS, now I'm drooling for that pizza and can't wait to use our own Pi Prime I just received from my husband for my birthday!

    Show the bottoms on every pizza or it’s not a pizza oven review. 90% of these ovens can’t cook bottoms at the same rate as the top. And if it can, it’s a winner.

    I have both the Pi and the Pi fire with the optional gas burner. I would love to see a door option on the front so you could bring the temperature of the stone up quicker between pizzas. Easy to get a good first pizza on the PI with wood but difficult to repeat results after the first pizza.

      I find if a wood burning box is too small, it's just not practical to use wood for long cooks or very high heat cooks. There's just not enough room for fuel when it needs it in my experience with many smaller wood ovens.

    Do you all have any plans to review the Gozney Dome? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it

    Do you have any advise how to avoid the grey smoke on the pizza? We can't find out why this happens

      Are you using wood or gas? If you’re using the over the firepit Pi, it depends on how your fire is running. If you’re getting some dirty smoke and some ash, it’s the quality of the fire that gives that.

    Good video lots of information. One question I have, how long between pizzas for the stone to reach temp again on the Pi and Prime? I want to get one but I can’t find that info for either of them.

      In our experience, by the time we have the next pizza stretched and topped and ready to cook either oven cooking with gas is ready for the next round. Wood is different because you have to keep on top of feeding the fire.

      @@TheBarbecueLab really?? That’s awesome thank you for that. I was expecting there would be a 5+ minute wait between pizzas here. I definitely want one now. Already have a Versa 16 but a smaller oven would be awesome

      @@TheBarbecueLabso you cooked one, took it out, then started the next pizza dough?
      Usually we have several ready for the oven all at once.
      Still seems that the stone would keep up but like another viewer commented, I very much like to see how the bottom cooked as that seems to be the weak spot with this type of oven.

    Does the new pi prime oven fit on the pi stand thats designed for the original oven? Also, thanks for the informative video.

      @TheBarbecueLab  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No it does not fit on the current Pi stand, however I have heard that Solo Stove is working on a redesign that will work for both versions.

      @@kidcraft1433 I think in the meantime I'm going to just have mine resting on my foldable table with maybe a heat-resistant mat between them. I don't think they throw much heat out below them

    Is it just me, or is your ring upside down? Might reduce that smoke hitting the crust
