Not a lot of bells and whistles with the Pi Prime, but I like that. It's simple, built well, and makes great pizza. Chicken, bacon, ranch pizza for life!
Nice review, Tim! There are so many of these pizza ovens now (and it seems you have tested almost all of them) that it is probably time to test them head-to-head.
I could do that, but I don't have every oven I've ever tested on-hand. I sold a couple, of them, then gave the rest to friends and family. Pretty sure I have 8 on-hand at the moment.
Although I would never eat that pizza (way out of my comfort zone lol), I loved watching you work. Very calming compared to some other pizza channels. Thanks!

Looks good, I've been eyeing this oven as an upgrade to my ooni koda 12. What size dough ball was that? Looked on the larger size for a 12" pizza but I liked it!
Much appreciated! I haven't tested back-to-back bakes yet, but it's fair to assume that the oven needs a few minutes between each pizza so the stone temp can recover.

The last ingredient you added on top of the pizza is unclear to me. Something like "flordesel" .... can you identify this again, and how it is spelled? Thanks.

Would you share the pickled red onion recipe with us? I bet it’s delicious. You brought my pizza making to a whole other level…thank you and keep the videos coming
I use 1 teaspoon peppercorns, 1 tablespoon sugar, slice 1/2 red onion thinly pole to pole, cover this in a 500ml jar with white distilled vinegar then fill completely with boiling water. Leave to pickle for 1 hour and they're ready.
I asked solo the same question…their response. “Yes, the NEW Pi Prime Oven is compatible with the Pi Stand. It is designed to nest along the grooves of the Pi Prime Oven for a secure fit. They were made for each other!”
Well dang, that's confusing. I emailed my contact, and she told me exactly what I said above. The feet are different on the Prime. That's the only thing that would concern me about fitment. Other than that, the ovens occupy the same space.
@@KitchenCraftFood well, I emailed them a second time and they informed me that their initial response to me was incorrect. Glad I didn’t purchase the stand. So no, the new pi prime oven does not fit the prime stand, which seems like a big oversight on their part.
I believe the prep board will launch at the end of this month. Please consider using my affiliate link in the video description. No additional cost to you, but I get a small commission for the sale. It’s a great way to help support my channel.

How exactly do you make the sauce for this recipe?
Every time Tim uploads it's a must watch, if anything, just for the joy of good company!
You rock Max. Thanks for your support!
Most outstanding...I just bought that unit yesterday!!!
Always good to see you upload a video! Pizza looks great!
Thank you 😋

Great review, lots of great information, Thank You🙏🥰💕
Glad it was helpful!
Looks really nice, don’t need another pizza oven, but when Solo releases that prep board I’m all over it.

@@Bigheadedwon That’s very much appreciated. Thanks so much!
Is there a specific stand for this model. Link?
Welcome back mister
Thanks!

Thanks for watching! when baking 12" pizza I use a 250-265g dough ball.
Awesome video, thank you for the content. Any ideas how the pizza stone retains heat for pumping out pizzas.

Your pizzas look amazing!!
Much appreciated!
Where did you get that very cool pizza board?
Looks like Solo Stove hasn't released it yet. Should be up on their site within a few weeks.

Fleur de sel (special kind of sea salt)
I'd want to have a door as well as a top vent for when you use wood/charcoal/pellets.
Well does it get to 900 f in 15 min?
Nice video. I'd love to find an oven that I can brown my pies with, instead of the fast cook. Any ideas?
You can turn the heat way down on these ovens to get more browning, but a home oven with a pizza steel also works great.
great video cant find the board you used to stretch out the pizza?

Does this connect to a normal 20lb. LP Gas tank? And will this fit on the existing Pi outdoor stand?
Yep, connects to a standard propane tank, but it doesn't fit on the Pi outdoor stand. I asked Solo Stove and they just confirmed that for me.
I asked solo the same question…their response.

Thank you very much
Try thin crust St. Louis style
thin crust is on the agenda.
I really like how there is no door.
Agreed, but I've found that a door definitely helps to maintain the oven temp. Still a great little oven.
Looks very wet in the center
These solo Stove pizza
Ovens are so flimsy and cheap feeling
You're entitled to your own opinion, but I beg to differ.
most pizza ovens are flimsy and cheap feeling. Has no affect on the quality as if they had thick metal they would weigh a lot.
@@user-ke2up6mr8t Have you seen a Roccbox? It's built like a tank.
