This look great and organized like it should. I got to get like this bc right now mines just thrown in the closet so finding certain rounds is a chore 😩 great safe layout! 👌
Thank you brother :) Funny you should say that though cause this was literally all on my closet floor earlier :P I just figured safety was a big part of it, but also getting organized felt great cause now I know where literally all my calibers and mags are - and on range day when I haven't had my coffee yet and my buddy is gonna be there to pick me up in 3 minutes, THAT is important ;)
A very good point :-) which is probably why I will transition to bulk storage once I run out of space :-) I just like to stay organized and know exactly what ammo is where
I like it, i have about the same for 22LR. A lot less bulk for my centre fire rifles than you. But boy howdy I stock waaaaay more shotgun ammunition. But I shoot a lot of clays and hunt primarily with a shotgun.
Forgive me if I’m replying to this again. TH-cam seems to think I haven’t, but I have a feeling I did 🤔 In any case, the ammo is fine. From what I can tell it is indeed non corrosive. I’d just caution you that some ranges ban steel core ammunition, which this is, so consider that beforehand. :)
Not much for surviving off the land? Rabbits, partridge and other small game will be a must for survival if the world goes WW3. Lots of defense ammo for one guy with 3 calibers. I mix it up. Im more heavily into hunting rounds. Looks good 👍
I’m mostly a sport shooter and haven’t tried my hand at hunting just yet. But, you make an excellent point. I’ve recently gotten a new 308 rifle (you can get a sneak peak in my newest video) and while it’s definitely not designed for hunting, it would absolutely do the job (although for bigger game; I’d hate to see a rabbit take a 308 😂) and with that I’ve gotten quite a bit of SP ammo, as well as some match stuff and FMJs for target shooting. I have a 22 as well, and while most of my ammo there (the blazer) is a lead round nose, I do have some flat nose and some HOs scattered throughout that would make very decent small game hunting rounds. Excellent point on the survival aspect though and it’s definitely some food for thought for the future. Thanks for watching my friend. :) appreciate you, and the time you spent leaving a. Sry thoughtful comment :)
You sure can. There are no magazine laws like this per se, as far as I know anyway. I just treat it like any other ammo, it’s locked up just like all my other ammo is (WITH all my other ammo :) ) The thing is in my opinion, it’s important to try to go above the minimum requirements of the law. Not just because you want to be a law-abiding citizens, per se, because of course you want to do that, too. But because if you have multiple layers of protection there is a much lower chance of any unforeseen circumstances or accidents happening. I also find it a lot easier to articulate that you’re being safe when you can show that you have multiple layers of protection in place to prevent against such an accident.
Why do you put it in a safe like literally put it in a filling cabinet or regular shelves, I'll be cheaper more compact and doesn't make you look weird

And on top of that restricted and prohibited weapons can already arbitrarily be called that just because. Which is stupid. The Type 81 SR is actually NOT a variant. It’s a completely different platform because it legally can’t be an Ak variant. It’s not made by the same people who originally made the AK. It is built in a similar way, with simple action and reliability in mind.
