BESAN KE LADOO
Preparation time 5-10 minutes
Cooking time 15-20 minutes
Serving 4-6
Ingredients
2 cups Ladoo Besan or Besan, बेसन
½ cup Ghee, घी
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, हल्दी पाउडर
½ cup Cashew nuts, chopped, काजू
1 level tsp Cardamom powder, इलायची पाउडर
1 cup Powdered sugar, पिसी चीनी
For Garnish
Silver varq, चांदी का वर्ख
Pistachios, slice, पिस्ता
Process:
In a kadai , add besan, roast it for a small time to get rid of the smell.
Add turmeric powder to get a better colour.
Now, add ghee in besan, and roast it well.
Add 1 tsp of ghee for roasting of cashew in the mixture, add chopped cashew
Keep the mixture for cooling at room temperature.
Now, add cardamom powder and powdered sugar in it and mix it well.
Start shaping the ladoos.
Once prepared, garnish with silver varq and serve.

I am 16. I love besan laddoo so I asked my mum to make me some. She is a working woman so she said she doesn't have time... I decided to make it myself using this recipe... It turned out amazing...just awesome...better than those shops... Aaj bhut tarif hui 😁 Thank u Sir❤️

I made these Ladoos for Ganesh Chathurthi this year. Came out amazing. I didn't have cashews, so I subbed in hazelnuts and a bit of walnut. Tasted perfect.

Hello ji, didn't have ladoo besan, so made with normal fine besan. Added a mutthi of finely roasted rava. They turned perfect.

I tried this recipe on occasion of ganesh chaturthi.. turned out so well. Thoda ghee jyada ho gya so shape was little flattened but taste was amazing. And that ratio knowledge is amazing . I tried first time. Thank you so much brar sahab.

What i love most is your ratios...you don't say "little more" like rest of other channels...this is what it makes beginner friendly channel. Also if you could use cooking thermometer and say the temp in C or F it would be even more appreciable. Gonna try this recepie...stay safe.

Dear Chef,
I made the laddoos with this recipe, just had to add two teaspoons of milk and rub it into the besan (we don't have ladoo besan in the UK), and leave it in the fridge overnight. The rest of the recipe was followed to the letter and my family and friends loved the laddos!! Thank you so much for your cracking recipe!! 😁 😘
